Movements are consistent, quick and mess free!
Excellent results. I started out taking daily but have adjusted to every other day as that is what works best for me. Movements are consistent, quick and mess free! Be sure you drink 8oz of water directly after. I take the powder with 12oz of water (shaken well) then follow with 8oz. I think room temp is best. Taste is not great - hold your nose and chug! It is worth it!

Worth the premium
This is miles more effective than any other psyllium husk powder I have ever used. I know it's on the pricier side but trust me this bottle will last you a while. It absorbs so much better than the flavored version you'll find at your grocery store - just make sure to drink it fast so you don't have to drink jello (unless that's your thing).

Healthy and Helpful!
Started taking psyllium husk for digestion. When we first used this it was clumpy and hard to mix. Did some research and saw the suggestion to use a cheap frothing tool to mix this (we got one from IKEA for $2-3). Makes a world of difference ~ doesn’t clump anymore and tastes great! Would recommend drinking as soon as you mix as it starts to turn to jelly pretty quickly.

A little goes a long way, mix in warm/hot water
When you get this, start with a small amount. I've been using psyllium husk for a long time. When I first started, I was using a teaspoon. Now I use the HANDLE of the teaspoon to measure out 1/8-1/4 of a teaspoon. Psyllium husk is hydrophobic at first (hates mixing), so if you try to mix it into a cold drink it'll clump up and you'll be chewing powery chunks in your drink. If possible, throw your drink and the powder into a blender. Or, mix the powder into a hot drink. EG: I mix it into a coffee in the morning that I add creamer and milk to after. The powder dissolves much better in hot drinks. Be sure to drink the drink quickly, or mix it up periodically, otherwise you'll end up with a big sludge of gel on the bottom of your drink. Whole psyllium husk doesn't mix as well as powder, so this powder is definitely the better option. I have bowel issues, no gallbladder, colon surgery that I've never "done business right" afterwards from, deal with bacteriosis overload sometimes, etc, etc. It can leave me wiping and wiping when I use the bathroom. I use 1-2x 1/4 teaspoon of psyllium powder daily, it clears things right up. I can "do the doo" like a normal person, and just wipe and be done instead of it feeling like my stools are clay or mud. The psyllium husk bulks and moves things out easily leaving little residue behind. Sounds gross, but you reach a certain age where you start to brag about how much better your bowel movements are with proper fiber supplement, and I've found that psyllium husk powder is the miracle cure. I've used various other brands, but yerba prima is the one I've found makes a good powder instead of just whole psyllium husks. And, like I said, a little goes a long way. Build up gradually to figure out how much you need / can tolerate. Sometimes you don't need much.

Great fiber supplement
I bought this because it doesn't contain the additives that Metamucil and others have and contains a high quality psyllium husk. It really is a high quality product. I mix it with room temperature juice as I think it helps to dissolve better instead of clump up like it does with cold juice. There is a mild taste to it but you can barely taste it when it's mixed with juice. It did take me a couple of glasses to get used to the texture and taste but now I'm so used to it, I don't even notice it. I started taking it bc my dr wanted me to start taking a fiber supplement to help with my cholesterol and I'm happy to report that it has helped bring down my triglycerides from 450 to 76, although I still have high LDL cholesterol and high total cholesterol (my total cholesterol did come down though just not within normal limits). I will continue taking this since it seems to be helping. Just be careful, you want to drink plenty of fluids with any fiber supplement otherwise it can constipate you.

a permanent part of my daily routine
I wish when I was younger that someone had explained what it means to be regular and why that is important. I was a once-a-week kind of guy and just assumed that was normal. Fast forward to middle age and actually taking care of myself and I have found a routine that works. I start my day with some dried fruit, I drink buckets of water throughout the day (I live in the desert and sweat a lot so it takes effort to keep up), and I take a generous dose of psyllium husk right after dinner. For me I need a hefty dose--experiment to see what works for you. Like clockwork, right after coffee in the morning I am ready to close and have an easy and prompt evacuation. I'm a bidet user but even when I use paper there is barely anything to clean up. I feel great all day. If I miss (happens mostly when traveling) I start backing up almost immediately, and it takes a few days after I get home to get back into the groove, so I am confident that the psyllium husk is really doing something. I picked this particular product after reading about testing that somebody did that showed this was the cleanest brand on the market. There are lots of other health benefits to fiber supplements (one of the best supplements you can take), but for me the upgrade in digestion is a life changer.

Waste
Makes a clumpy mess, even with constant stirring room temperature water. Quickly thickens and becomes difficult to get down. Also, gives me weird, gurgling heartburn. Something isn’t right with the texture. Haven’t had these issues with other psyllium products. Amazon won’t refund it, so total waste.
