This worked perfectly. It was the only outdoor waterproof timer with a straight plug instead of a sideways plug. The straight plug would work with any outdoor outlet. It is easy to setup as long as you read the directions. It kept up with the accurate time for turning on my Christmas lights. Very happy with this product.

I use these with some outdoor lights that I have in specific areas around my yard that I want to come on at certain times. The function works perfect perfectly, and it is held great in Florida weather with all of the rain.

This electrical timer will work great outdoors for lights. It doesn't work for what I bought this for, which is for a golf cart charger. My golf cart charger automatically turns off when full charged. You have to unplug it from power for it to turn back on so I bought this for that purpose, to turn the power off and then come back on. It does that but for some reason the charger does not start working. I have to literally unplug it from the golf cart and then plug it back into the golf cart for the charger to start working. I tried a different timer and it does the same thing, so it must have something to do with the golf cart charging system. It works great for lights so I still give it a 5 star. It is easy to use and is well made and is water proof. If you are looking for an outside electrical timer, then I can recommend this one. You will not be disappointed.

I was looking for a timer that had two plug receptacles in it. I also wanted the timer dial to have a clear cover. Those features are 5 stars. However, I gave the product 4 stars overall for a few reasons, mostly based on my spouse's comments (he doesn't pick the timers but he gets the "opportunity" to set them for me and has set other brands and types in the past): This timer does not have a second button that allows you to test whether the electricity (or the lights connected to the timer) are working; it has only the "set timer" button. In fairness, it is not advertised as having the test feature, but my spouse really liked that option on other timers and considered its absence here a real disadvantage. I took off 2 stars in the "value for money" rating and adjusted my overall rating accordingly (because if you read descriptions carefully you can find timers with this feature). Some notes of caution (which I factored into the "ease to use" rating): The pins are small and some comments are that they are hard to set. My spouse did not mind that the pins are tiny because he knows to use a small screwdriver get at them (and has done so with other timers). One thing about this timer that he understood but I totally did not is that you can't just set the timer for the time on and time off and then plug it at some later time in and hope the decorations light up at the time that you set. I learned this when I asked why the second timer that I purchased was plugged into an outlet in the kitchen already set for 4pm and midnight even though I didn't think I would need another timer--and why I couldn't just plug it in outside (pre-set to my desired on/off times) whenever I wanted it and be "off to the races", so to speak. He explained that there is a "set current time" dial that also needs to be set (immediately) so that the timer has a reference point in order to "know" when to turn the lights on and off. Ok, now I get it, but I had no clue when I bought the timers. Not a defect, just the way this type of timer works, but not super-easy to use either. I hope this review helps those who get stuck setting timers and those who buy timers having no real clue as to the effort involved to set them.

This is exactly what I needed. I have tried automated timers with wifi and have had nothing but issues. Back to basics with this unit and all I had to do is set it and forget it. Very satisfied with the company and the timer.

Funciona perfecto. Al principio tuve que buscar en internet cómo se prendía, pensé q tenía quizás un interruptor on/off o algo por el estilo. Pero no, simplemente programas los momentos que quieras que se active y ya, lo enchufas y listo. Tiene un pequeño interruptor en el frente que lo que hace es que: para un lado queda establecido para que se active cuando lo hayas programado, y para el otro lado lo vas a encender en ese momento. Tiene 2 palitos por cada hora (48 opciones de prendido). Con la uña o un desarmador levantas el palito que quieras activar y ya está, lo enchufas y listo. No te olvides de ajustar la hora ni bien lo enchufes para ya dejarlo sincronizado.
