Good deterrent solution that tells petty thieves to BTFU. One caveat though.
I currently moved into a new coworking space with a dedicated desk. Until I upgrade to an actual office suite, my PC and monitor are exposed in the open. I'm not too worried about my environment: I trust 99% of my community, we have security cameras outside, outsiders can't reach the offices or my desks without using a badge to scan, etc, etc. However, it wouldn't hurt to just have a deterrent security solution since we do have cleaners and security who have access to the entire place. Their staff tends to rotate often. The Kensington Locking Kit 2.0 does what it needs to. It fulfilled most of my needs. Sends the message to petty thieves to BTFU. Determined thieves might find a way to steal my stuff, but not without putting some heavy effort into it. The kit plate was a necessity since I have a custom built PC. It's plastic, which is OK, but the 3M adhesive that came with the plate, however, is a bit of a joke. I recommend getting some good quality epoxy adhesive to stick the plate somewhere if your PC doesn't have that special Kensington keyhole thing.

Well made, fit perfectly.
Works perfectly in back of my new dell desktop computer case, to secure to wall.

Good as a deterrent
Well-made product. Solid lock and thick cable. Actually, the cable is so thick that it isn't very flexible making it a bit tricky to snake it through all my peripherals. The adhesive is not strong enough to hold with someone pulling hard on it so I'm trying liquid nails. Not sure if it will work yet. I bought this for my home computer system because I live in a high-theft area where home break-ins are common. The product is well made, and will work well as a deterrent. Any thief prepared to cut cables and locks will easily be able to steal my computer and screens. But most home break-ins here are done by lazy thieves who just want to grab and go. I'm hopful this system will be enough to just piss them off and make them give up and move on. Fingers crossed!

Great all in one option
This kit is similar to the old "butterfly" locks we used to use in public computer labs, but worth an updated mechanism. The fact that this one kit has everything you need to lock down 2 or even 3 large pieces of equipment (assuming there's something solid to loop the steel cable around you can use the adhesive plate on a printer, 2nd monitor, etc) in addition to up to 3 or 4 wired devices makes its a great all-in-one option for a complete desktop setup

Stolen laptop - the stick-on pad didn't last two days
My gaming/work laptop didn't have a kensington slot, so I had the stick-on lock attachment stuck to the back of the laptop screen. I had tried removing it myself shortly after sticking it on to make sure it would work, and it seemed fine. I admit I didn't pull very hard since I didn't want to break the screen! A day and a half later, the laptop was gone with the lock still on the cable and the stick-on part only missing part of it's pad. I was able to recover the laptop this week. The only evidence that the pad had been ripped off was some scratches in the aluminum back of the screen where someone had pried it off. Sadly, the laptop was no longer functional as someone had taken the internals out. I'm guessing the encryption and fingerprint login was too much for the thief so they sold the parts...

Great value.
Well crafted and cable is long enough that I was able to secure both the tower and the monitor.

Easy to protect multiple devices
I work in a shared office space. This was super simple to set up. I was able to protect two monitors and my peripherals(wired keyboard, wired mouse, and display port cable).

Para que te roben cualquier dispositivo del PC, tienen que antes que romperlo… el cable es de un trenzado resistente y flexible pero muy muy duro. Recomendadisimo para asegurar los periféricos en cualquier parte fuera de casa.
