Trodat ID Protector Ink Roller – Identity Theft Protection Roller Stamp

I grind up my junk mail with my name on it, but for the packages from amazon and other companies, it is not easy to tear off the shipping label to grind up in my shredder. It also doesn't work well to get a sharpie and try to cover my name address etc. So I bought the Trodat ID Protector Ink Roller. From experience from long ago I am familiar with Trodat making all kinds of different stampers and such and they were always exceptional quality. Anyway using this stamp is easy... twist the cover and roll-away! The ink and roller covers what you need hidden. Like I said I use this for shipping labels on packages and it works great. Covers the information and does what I need it to do. One thing is that you should let it dry a bit because depending upon the paper sometimes it takes a bit to dry, but overall great product. Oh and I bought extra ink when it needs it. Great product...

This product works great. Roll it over any text you don't want anyone to see, and it makes it completely unreadable. Just understand that with some media, such as glossy paper or card stock, the ink may not roll off well, or might be easy to wipe off. But on regular paper, or any surface that has an absorptive ability, it's permanent and dries quickly.

This imprinter works extremely well. It is quite large in size and can completely cover whatever it is applied to. Just one press is enough to complete the process. I bought one to try it out and I really like it.

Wish I had discovered this product earlier. I was shredding my mail and documents with sensitive information until I got this roller. It's easy to use and works very well. One or two swipes and your personal information is covered. Sometimes it takes a bit for the ink to dry depending on the type of paper, but I haven't had any issues with smudging. I've been using it for three months now and still have ink. Highly recommend getting this product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The ink quality is great. It's easy to use dries fast, it's small and fun to use. Making mail safe to dispose of afterwards with no trace of your personal information. Great buy and affordable and without taking up any space ro put away.

Great invention/idea. Its ink and roller totally obliterates "special codes," personal information and QR codes on all the junk mail "offers" we get -- which, falling into the wrong hands (by people pilfering the trash) could allow them to order / sign up for stuff in YOUR NAME. Way easier, faster and "greener" than shoveling mountains of such trash mail into a shredder.

I don't know how could I live without this. Since paper shredder cannot take everything, this is a perfect addition. Finally I don't have to use permanent marker which doesn't conceal text 100% anyway so I was always using a ball pen on top of the marker. This ink conceal text or QR codes perfectly, text is impossible read even under 7x magnification, I tried. Works fine on different paper types and thermal shipping labels. It cannot be wiped off, tried with water and isopropyl alcohol. Ink is kinda sticky, it dries out quickly. Happy with purchase. Shame that refill ink is not included but this should be sufficient for up to 100 meters according to manufacturer.

Works like it should

This is a very good product that hides personal information very well. At first I was slightly concerned with how it would work on laser jet printing and thermal printing. I found that for these you may need to run the ink roller back and forth a couple of times. It is very quick and easy to use and much faster than shredding. I would say that it is good value for money but I don't know how long it will last for.

Funciona muito bem, não necessita de muitas passadas para deixar ilegível e veda bem, então a tinta dura.
