I was looking to buy one male-female set of wires for prototyping, but the price of this set of ribbons, with two different sizes, won me over. (I had a pleasant experience with the company's customer service in canceling a previous order, as well, but this one was fulfilled by Amazon.) I can split them up into wire sets as needed for my experiments. They are about as easy to use as the ones I already had from kits and devices like a TTL USB adapter. They also included a couple extra ends, some jumpers and even a couple switches. I ended up using one of those switches temporarily in a pulse-width modulated circuit. It worked fine, though it didn't really fit my breadboard well. I will look for these again when I need more.

They were a little loose, but for the number of them that you get for how little it costs, it is a rare defect. Love the fact that it is color coded. Works really well for any projects.

Thrilled with the quality for the price

I'm sure they are great quality, but I need them to be 20 gauge so they fit firmly into a breadboard. I'd rather struggle just a little bit to have a firm fit, than to have 22 or 24 gauge flopping around.

There is nothing more annoying that having to figure out why the circuit you just built does not work other than finding poor connections. I have run in to this several times now with these Dupont cables. The female connectors appear to make good contact however if you remove and replace one or two times, they become very loose due to a loss of metal retention and become unreliable. I thought I was buying from a good vendor but these connectors are of very poor quality. The male connectors are fine and the price is not bad so I gave it a 2 star rating.
