I absolutely love this thing
Absolutely love my watch it's my first ever Galaxy accessory. It did show up on time and exactly as described I did buy it used in excellent condition I believe and it came with minor scratches that don't affect its usability. The size is perfect for my wrist. It pairs to my phone quite easily with no problems so far. The battery life is a little lacking. Overall for the price I paid it was a fantastic deal I was already aware of the battery issues regarding this model before I purchased. What it lacks in battery life it makes up foreign functionality. It is also very accurate at recording just about everything including my sleep which is kind of creepy. Lol but it looks fantastic it doesn't get in the way at work and one of my favorite features is the heart rate monitor since I struggle with heart problems it's become very handy especially when I feel like I'm going to pass out I can just go ahead and start the heart Reading thing and get an accurate reading to decide whether or not I need to go to an emergency room. I've been using it to keep track of heart rate blood oxygen level etc so I can document it and give that information to my doctor. Way more convenient than having all of those extra machines to carry around. The speaker quality on this is also pretty good I don't primarily use it for making phone calls but there's been a couple of occasions where answering the phone on the watch hands-free has been very handy like while I'm passenger driving down the street on my way to the vet with a very angry cat in my lap. That was a situation where it was a little difficult to hold a phone to my head while trying to restrain an angry sick kitty I found. It definitely has its uses beyond health monitoring for sure. Also the step counter thing is fantastic it automatically tracks your steps so you don't have to press anything or do anything and it also tells you motivational things like "keep up the good work keep moving" that's really cool I like that. Especially considering I'm not somebody who likes to exercise gives you a little bit of motivation at the end of the day.

Great watch, battery life sucks.
I have been a fitbit user since they first hit the market. When my FBsense died unexpectedly in February, conveniently right after an update, it kinda confirmed some rumors I'd been hearing about Fitbit post buyout so I decided it might be time to switch to a smart watch. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! I can't even say how much I use features I thought would be useless for me. I truly wish I'd gone over to a smart watch before now. I work in a school and its so much easier to leave my phone put away and still be able to get my work related texts on my watch. And thats just for starters. I can set alarms and timers easily throughout my day with the kids, get my work texts, still keep track of my steps and goals and do so much less obtrusively. I have a renewed purchase and I can't tell the difference from new. Its a solid watch and the only issue I have with it is battery life. I'm up and moving by 5:30 am. I take it off the charger and put it on when I get up. I USUALLY have about 15% battery left by 4:30 pm. I take it off for a bit while I watch the news then try and remember to put it back on. Then to bed around 11pm and it charges all night. I really wish it had a better battery. I know the reason why the battery doesn't last as long as my Fitbits is all those extra features I love but I sure do miss my fitbits couple of days worth of battery life per charge. Having a battery that lasts a full day though would be great. Thats my one and only complaint tho.

Take the chance! It's worth it!
I was skeptical ordering a renewed product...I made the right decision. I am only providing a review because I want people to know that the quality was spot on (Excellent Condition) I saved over $200!!

As expected and I love it!
So with the Galaxy 8 watches just coming out I figured it was time to get one of the previous models and the G 6 is the one I wanted. So I knew I was getting a "renewed" Amazon product. Do I know and see that it is refurbished and shows signs of ware, well yes. But that is expected and if you think you are not going to see tiny flaws than you shouldn't but renewed. > Is there some "gunk" in the teeny tiny crevices, yes. > Does the watch edges have some minor scratches from rubbing on hard surfaces, yes. > Is the watch face scratch free, yes! > Arethe wrist straps non-scratched and look new, yes. > Does the battery life hold throughout the entire day and then some, yes. > Is it what I expected when I selected "renewed in excellent condition", yes. So overall, I love having a newer watch than my old Galaxy 2... what an upgrade I tell you! Will I continue to purchase Amazon renewed products.... You bet!

The pros outweigh the cons!
I purchased the "refurbished/ excellent condition." Initially I was upset with my purchase because the watch battery barely makes it through the day or a full night. I have to charge it the morning and at night. I tried exchanging the watch and the battery lasted the same amount of time. One plus is that the replacement watch has the capability to use it with a service plan as well as wifi/ Bluetooth. While I would love to not have to charge my watch twice a day, to get a smartwatch with its capabilities and such good physical shape at only $100, it's worth it to me! It charges from dead to 100% in around 30 to 45 minutes. That's time to give your wrist a break, shower, put lotion, etc. The band it comes with is so comfortable I forget I have it on! It's starting to get hot in the south and it did start to make my wrist hot and sweaty, but amazon has a huge selection of replacement bands that are thinner and breathable! There's also different cover plastic pieces that you can put on the metal frame if you aren't crazy about it being all black. I have the rose gold on in the picture. The physical condition for the first watch was perfect (no scratches, cracks, or visible wear and tear at all) and the second his a tiny chip on the raised corner of the glass. I put a screen protector on and you can barely see the chip. The second watch also has a lot of visible wear on the wrist sensor.

Warning in app setup: Afib tracker only works on events of an hour or more!?!
This watch is driving me nuts. I have used a fitbit for years. It has constant 24/7 irregular heartbeat monitoring/notification that lets me track my very occasional bouts of afib. Needing a new watch, I get this highly touted watch to go with my Samsung phone thinking I'm going to get lots more information. I go through a complex setup that includes putting my finger on the power button to get a reading, only to then find out that the watch will only check "a few times during the day" for afib. The warnings actually say that it only detects events that last an hour or more!!!! I mean...what the heck? a couple of hours down the rabbit hole, I still don't know if I can get the kind of notification that fitbit gives so easily. Fitbit doesn't apparently perform some kind of "ECG" as Samsung claims to do, but simply lets you know if you've had an irregular heartbeat event, which seems to me an aspect of simply tracking heartrate. I can't even figure if the Samsung watch will DO a 24/7 heartbeat tracking. I do not know how Samsung gets such high ratings in the "best of" reviews with this kind of performance and opacity in their descriptions. NOWHERE did I see a review that mentions this "when I feel like it" afib tracking. As I say, I had to get deep into the setup to start getting these warnings. There's nothing in the reviews online. I get that the FDA has approved some kind of specific monitoring that the Samsun watch is doing, but is this simple answer to the "did my heartbeat go haywire for a few seconds" that irregular heartbeat and notifications on the fitbit give so hard for Samsung to give us? If I can't find some satisfactory answer to this problem, this useless piece of tech is going back.

Amazing!!!
This is an amazing wristwatch, and its ECG readings are excellent. The function I enjoy most is the step tracker, which is both accurate and very useful.
