I knew that other people had rated the ink pads highly and said great things about them, but nothing prepared me for the vibrant and seemingly endless palette of colors, textures, and combinations to choose from! Update: I’ve been lightly using these ink pads for a year and a half. They still work, maybe I have to press a bit harder, and have to press the stamp in it a few more times, but that’s to be expected. Where things have gone wrong is with the gold. As you can see by the pictures I store the pads in plastic bags to prevent them opening and drying out. When I pulled out the Silver/Gold. I thought I had put the wrong color back! But nope, that’s the Gold you see. But now it’s mottled, green, and super stinks! When I touched it the top collapsed, it felt like that green flower arrangement foam. I’m not sure what to think, why would it do that? I only used it once to test the color. I did drop a star for that bit of grossness. The other colors seem to be fine. And 18 months is a good length of time for $9.99. Original: I bought these to take on the road, they are small and have a great color selection. The colors are vibrant and go on easily. Only the gold and silver bleed through regular paper, which doesn’t bug me as I’m not planning on using them. Excellent value for the price, I recommend.

great colors. The ink is very good, you can see it does not take too much to get on the clear stamps. Don't know how long the ink will last though but for the price and the variety of colors, I will definitely buy again

I got this as a kind of beginner set when I saw what other card makers could do with shading. There is definitely a learning curve but if you remember stenciling techniques where less is better, you'll get the hang of it. They are not soft and squishy like you might think of a stamp pad. I found using a soft brush was the best for shading edges of my cards. Lots of colors included!

We used these stamp pads to decorate a picture with fingerprints for a baby shower. The stamp pads worked great....many vibrant colors to use, very reasonable cost and fingers were wiped off with baby wipes. Looking forward to using these stamp pads with the grandkids for different art projects.

Two colors were dried up unfortunately. Also, I bought these with the intention of using them for rubber stamps, however, the majority of the inks were so wet that they would bead up on the rubber and leave inconsistent, globby impressions. Maybe these are for finger stamping only?

Really incredible ink pads! These are so vibrant, and each colour is completely different. The only caveat is that the gold ink pad doesn't really seem to work very well; it doesn't layer the gold ink consistently at all. As long as you're not looking for gold ink specifically, then this is an excellent ink pad set.
