Chromex Tankless Water Heater Flush Kit with NSF Certified Concentrated Vinegar, Dilutes to 4 Gallons and 1/6HP Extra Strength Pump

Like others, I did a lot of homework on which flush kit to purchase. I decided on Chromex because of its customer satisfaction and the quality of its products. I received my kit promptly and followed the instructions (and from YouTube University) on how to complete the descaling process. It was very simple, and the results are excellent. I can tell that there was a good amount of residue removed. I am very happy with the product, and I recommend it!

Upon reading further, and knowing that I'm using 75% vinegar these days, I understand that this has an impact on the pump. So permit me to add: 1. I took the 6 screws off the bottom of the pump to get to the impellor. 2. I used my hand to manually rotate the impellor, which ended up moving freely - it didn't take much to break whatever was preventing it from rotating under electrical power 3. Putting the impellor casing back on, the pump worked without issue 4. After descaling the tankless heater, I put the pump in a full bucket of clean water and let it run for about an hour. The idea being that it removes all the existing vinegar and won't cease up in 6 months' time. The pump has great water flow and it's noise level is actually quite quiet. Value for money for the package is well worth it, hence the re-rated 5 stars

Easy to use

I purchased this the other day to de-scale my guess tankless hot water heater. It worked great. Just the way they shipped it the handle along the pump was broken. I fixed it. It’s OK really don’t need the handle, I guess the packaging could be better they mailed this big bucket in a box boxes ripped when it got to me. The box was too big for the bucket. Therefore it bounced around in the box, causing the broken handle on the pump.

This was very easy to use. Directions were very good. It also has a tag to write down when last used.

Works well

I paid a plumber $300 to maintain my tankless waterheater about two years ago. I bought this to save money this time. It was extremely easy and in saved me money. I would recommend it to anyone who is capable of DIY projects.

The submersible pump that came in my kit was defective and did not work. I reported this to Amazon and quickly received a replacement. The new pump worked well and I used it to descale my Rheem on-demand water heater. It is easy to use and the parts of the kit, including hoses and solution are nice. The instructions were good and easy to follow. Recommended.

Works very well and makes the process very simple. The connecting hoses and the pump are of very high quality and the whole process was very easy.
