Review: Least expensive option with spot lock - After a week I love this trolling motor. It is a small effort to lower and raise compared to my only riptide that is more like the Terrova, but it is better then spending another grand. Super quiet and spot lock much better than my old Minn Kota.

I bought this motor for my Yamaha 190FSH and it makes fishing and loitering so much better. I used the Yamaha trolling motor mounting plate but still required light modifications. I'm using 100 amp 24V Life battery but that was an overkill, the motor should be fine with 50 amp battery.
