3 months ownership - great product
We really like the product as we were having real issues with mould and damp from an internal bathroom (with the ventilation capability from its fan of an asthmatic mouse). We'd tried a smaller ProBreeze - for space in our flat - which was struggling to do anything. This 20L, which is bulky but had helpful wheels to move around, really does the job. It reduces humidity levels really quickly (e.g. After shower from 90-odd percent to 65 percent in about 15 minutes). Now it is relatively noisy (you're looking at 65-75db whilst running) and clanky (when refrigerant kicks in, even on lowest setting) so I'd advise its probably not the best to be used in the same room when sleeping for example. However if principally trying to remove moisture from the air - this really does the job. On removing water (the 5.5L tank is big enough to be filled in a day when leave for work for example), the bucket can be quite heavy and don't necessarily trust the inbuilt handle to carry a full bucket of water to disposal (be aware). But definitely does the job in terms of big enough for a day's work - not sure where 20L in a day would come from mind. Summary: Fantastic at function, less so on form. Worthwhile purchase for anyone struggling with mould or damp indoors like we were!

Great big tank, very efficient !
Bought this due to the size of it. Its great ! I empty it once every week or so as that's all that's needed. After washing clothes within 24 hours everything is pretty much dry. I have no choice but to dry clothes inside so its ideal. Its easy to move around too due to it being on wheels. Its easy to empty when full and the instructions and menu set up is very easy to follow. Would recommend this product, nice and quiet too which is a bonus !

20l of water removed each day - damp and black mould busted
Pro Breeze® 20L/Day Dehumidifier Review I’ve been using the Pro Breeze 20L/Day Dehumidifier for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs. It has made a noticeable difference in tackling the condensation and damp problems in my home. Before using it, I would wake up to windows streaming with water every morning, but that’s no longer an issue. The dehumidifier is incredibly efficient—it’s currently extracting a full tank of water every day. Emptying the tank is simple and hassle-free, which is a big plus. I live in a four-bedroom cottage that isn’t fully double-glazed and is prone to damp, but this dehumidifier has really turned things around. The built-in digital humidity display is particularly helpful, as it allows me to monitor the humidity levels in the house easily. With its castors and carry handle, moving it around the house is straightforward, despite it being on the heavier side. Since I started using it, I’ve managed to reduce the humidity in my home from 70-75% down to 45-50%. I usually set it to 40%, so it runs constantly, but I haven’t noticed any significant increase in my energy bills. Another positive is how quiet it is. While it’s not in a bedroom, I can confirm it operates with minimal noise, which is great. I haven’t explored all the features yet, but the ones I’ve used are intuitive and effective. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this dehumidifier. It’s powerful, user-friendly, and has completely transformed the air quality in my home. Highly recommended if you’re dealing with damp or condensation issues!

Quality and efficient dehumidifier
It is a five star in doing the job perfectly The lack of the 5 in the review is the awkwardness of taking the water container out to empty. It spills easily if too full and i wonder how long the handle will last as it seems a bit flimsy and getting it back in place is a bit if a task. Expensive but i looked for ine with a powerful function. easy to use otherwise and easy to find the correct setting. Especially like its ability to help drying clothes quicker. Have 3 for different rooms.

Excellent dehumidifier. Very powerful water extraction.
Excellent dehumidifier. Simple to use. Just plug and play. Went immediately into full power mode upon first use which is what I needed at 80% humidity with 3 full clothes airers to dry also! Also the room had been recently plastered (although a week beforehand), so this little baby had a lot of work to do! Very powerful extraction. I left it overnight and in the morning the 5.5L tank was almost full with humidity down to 61%. Most clothes were also dry. Size of lounge/diner approx. 20m squared. Its a solid machine that's well built. Good strong handle to carry it about with, with a handle also for the water-tank which is very helpful. What was interesting is I'd already ordered a 12L dehumidifier the day prior (a different brand) which I intend to use in a bedroom but this was already running in the lounge diner. When I turned on this 20L model it had a huge impact with the humidity readings on both dehumidifiers dropping quickly in the first 20 minutes which made me realise how powerful this 20L a day model is. On my smart electricity internal display it looks to be using approx. 8-9p an hour on full mode which is lower than I was expecting (although I suppose its similar to a fridge compressor but with a fan also!). My 12L model is similar so didn't really notice any difference between them. On a another note, since moving into my new home I've always felt it to be a "cold house", with two of the bedrooms, and lounge/diner north-facing, however I've realised that removing the dampness from the air will make a huge difference to how warm the house feels, which for some reason I hadn't really thought about before. Not relating to the product but I was a little annoyed about the delivery. The first delivery was missed as the driver clearly didn't use the doorbell and I was sitting in the front room at the time!

Pulls a LOT of water out of the air in our old house! Sleeping better now.
Our early-1930s house has no cavity wall insulation, and a leak in the roof caused damp areas in the kitchen. Even though the leak is now fixed, the house wasn't really drying out and everything felt slightly clammy. We considered hiring an industrial dryer, but my brother recommended this dehumidifier as he has been using one for a few weeks. He was absolutely right - it's made a very noticeable difference. When we turned it on, the humidity level in the bedroom was around 75%, and the light glowed red to indicate that this was too high. A bit of research suggests 40-60% is a good figure to aim for in the UK. After a couple of hours the figure dropped below 60%, and there was well over a litre of water in the tank. In the particularly grim and damp weather we've been having in the week up to Christmas, the humidity in the house has dropped down to about 55%, which seems to be the best we can get for now. We move the dehumidifier every eight hours or so, and the new-build utility room which has modern insulation and underfloor heating is down at 40%. The kitchen is close behind, which is good as that's where the roof leaked. The bedrooms have carpets, wardrobes of clothes and bedding so they are taking a bit longer to dry out, but each time we move the machine to a room, the figure is lower than before. Both of us have found that we are sleeping better in the lower humidity. The rooms feel warmer even though the thermometer says the temperature hasn't changed. The bed feels nice and 'crisp', and not clammy. I was quite alarmed and a little disgusted how damp our house was. Apparently this is not at all unusual. The dehumidifier has made a big difference already. Although it does cost a bit to run, the improvement in comfort is worth it as far as I'm concerned, and I am confident that our heating costs will drop in the long term. I've had no issues with the controls. It seems fairly intuitive. The light glows red if the humidity is too high, green if it's OK, and blue if its really low. The tank is quite easy to empty as long as you don't let it get completely full. The machine has wheels so it rolls from room to room easily. It's really heavy though, so taking it up and down stairs isn't something I enjoy doing. In our house, upstairs seems to be where it's needed most. Highly recommended.

It works!!
This humidifier worked really well in an extremely damp cellar / basement. I didn't quite get the 20l per day but I guess that's down to individual conditions and temperatures it's working under. I had the unit working on the high setting for 6 days and after the first day, any morning condensation around the small ground level windows had completely gone and the 'musty' smell you get from damp cellars was also gone after 2 days as well. The overall air quality had improved 100%. The only downside to the unit is the timer. I would have thought that you could set it up to switch on and off at pre-determined times, but it doesn't exactly work this way as it seems to only switch on and off once in a 24 hour period, hence the reason for the 4 stars. This isn't a big problem for me personally, but it may be for you. The instructions are relatively simple to understand, and the tank is easy to empty, but take care when its full as you might get some spillage. It is a little loud when its going at full power, but nothing major, and on the low setting is perfectly ok. Having said that, different people have different tolerances for noise, but mine is in the cellar and not around the living areas, so noise wasn't an issue for me personally. It could be quite heavy for some people to lift (older people or disabled), but the castors make is easy to move across the floor. Don't forget to give the filter a clean as well, as mine needed cleaning twice in the period of time I had it on, but again, the cellar was not exactly a clean area. Its very easy to do with a damp sponge, and easy to take out and put back in again. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase, and given my experience, I would definitely recommend.

I never realised just how humid our place could be
I've been running this dehumidifier at home 24/7 for three months. We moved into a place that had been unoccupied for a few months and where the walls had been replastered. There was mould on the walls and clearly a lot of water in the brickwork. Once the ProBreeze got to work, we could see the walls drying out before our eyes. It's taken a few months to get everything dried out, and the ProBreeze keeps everything at a good stable moisture level (we live by the sea) inside. Noise levels are acceptable and the 5 litre tank means it can run for hours without emptying. Quite honestly, I a still surprised by the amount of water this thing sucks out of the air, and worry that I am just throwing the water away (not a lot of plants to feed), but happy that this machine is doing its job, perfectly.

I thought moisture-farming was something George Lucas made up...
I thought moisture-farming was something George Lucas made up until I started using this thing. Consistently draws 10+ L of water from thin air every day (I've been emptying it twice a day). Using a separate humidity gauge, my room's humidity has dropped from 75-80% to 55% after running it continuously for 5 days. It took a few days for this drop to happen, so be patient if you're just getting started with it. I can't really gauge if the lower humidity is healthier or more comfortable, but considering the amount of water I'm throwing out, I think I'm just happier that it isn't my lungs filtering it out. The unit is loud; I don't mind the white noise but I can imagine most would find it disturbing in a quiet room. It does have a low/night-time operating mode but it's still quite loud. I wish the tank was larger as emptying it twice a day is a chore. You can attach a hose to allow it to drain continuously but I don't have a placement which would make that possible. It uses between 5-10 kWh a day, so I'm expecting a significant bump in my utilities bill.
