So much for the price! Quality hardbacks that my developing reader loves.. my son is 8 and slightly behind due to some learning issues and I wanted books for him that would make him giggle a bit and enjoy learning, as I have him read for a while every day. These just crack him up and the set is so sturdy it will last. Also, there are a couple books that are slightly easier reads than others, so if you have a developing reader they can kindof progress. We started with the magic finger :)

This is a well loved favorite box set in our house hold and kids and adults alike love reading this amazing stories full f imagination. Totally worth the purshase

He is a 9yr old. When I look over and he is laughing from reading these books makes this purchase worth it! He is a good reader so has been burning through them. I think they are great for kids for both their reading and for fun. The set contains all the books Roald Dahl is famous for writing.

These books are amazing. We bought them when our son was 5 and we’re still reading them four years later. Some are a bit dark (like the Witches) so you’ll want to wait a bit on that. But most are great for young or old, boys and girls. The Twits became an instant favorite and has remained that way. All books are creative and well-written, and helped both our kids live reading! Highly recommend.

These books are so fun to read and immerse yourself in.

The box’s arrived in great condition. My four kids 5-11 each eagerly found a book they would like. The set comes with books for those just starting to read chapter book all the way to larger chapter books meant for a 4-5th grade level reader. They stories are all fanciful and generally have an inquisitive child as the main character. They make a great bedtime story!

They are amazing and kids can get engrossed. Even for adults to read together this is no less engaging. Best way to introduce kids to reading.
