Hot Pickled Tomatoes (Quart) – Pickled Vegetable – Handcrafted Gourmet Topping for Sandwiches, Charcuterie & More

I read the reviews on this product, and I almost did not purchase the item. People were giving these very bad reviews...but my experience was different. The package came boxed well, secured the item, it was not broken like other reviews had mentioned, the tomatoes were firm, juicy and clean. Not one rotten tomato in sight and baby if you don't like hot or spice do not buy these, they delivered for those of us who can stand that heat babyyyyyy!!! Yes Jersey, I'm coming again, the only think is the price is high but now I see why these tomatoes are worth a try at least once. Now, I would love to try the sour ones but someone said those were not sour. Well, I'm not going to listen, I'm going to purchase them myself and give my honest review. I will be purchasing more I'm addicted and one jar is not enough!

These hot pickled tomatoes tase great with the right amount of heat to them. They are crisp and not mushy at all. They have a great flavor to them also.

These tomatoes are so good that I couldn't eat just one. I ate one on a sandwich and had to eat another by itself. They are good both ways. Very crisp and flavorful, and the spice is just enough without being overly spicy. The only down side is that they are a bit pricy and the shipping cost is nothing to smile at either, but I will buy them again in the future. I wish they were in my local grocery store.

I have read different reviews. For my family we tried and did not care for the product. They don't have the tangy flavors with a fiery kick. The tomatoes are firm and juicy, holding their shape in the brine. They are packaged in a plastic container with a pretty good seal. Would I say the value for the money, no I was disappointed in the product. I bought the quart for $16.99, and we ended up throwing it away. It was a waste of money!

Very crunchy does have a unique flavor not so hot but spicy. The small pickles was a nice touch in the jar.

very delicious. the pickle chips are spicy but not too spicy where you need to drink milk after lol. But it have a nice kick. Tomatoes are spicy but not too spicy. And some were cut in half which is cool with me seems like it's more of them in the jar, which is great. Spicy and crunchy. I had a sandwich with mines. it was amazing. Will definitely be ordering again.

Well, I ordered two of these in separate orders because the first one arrived opened. Here is my experience ; Order #1 - (first three pics) Arrived with the box wet and smelling of pickles. Once I opened the soaked box I saw that the lid had some flimsy shrink wrap on it that was not tight, the lid was not tight either and the seal had broken and leaked. Once opened I saw there was quite a bit of room left in the jar and there were only 9 tomatoes with a bit of pickle chips. The top two tomatoes were very soft (my guess being out of the brine) but the rest were crisp and I loved the taste of them. Reminds me of the green tomatoes my granny would grow and pickle for me when I was young, as I got older she added a pepper or two to give them a bite. These actually brought me back to those times. But ONLY 9 tomatoes ?? As you can see in this first batch they were 2-2-1/2", yes I know mother nature does not grow them all the same size, but these were pretty small and it looked like they could have added some more to the jar (3rd pic). So with me thinking this 'could' be a fluke, and liking the taste so much, I ordered another. Order #2 - (last two pics) This one arrived unopened, the lid taped up Very securely and the seal unbroken. The taste was the same BUT, these tomatoes were significantly smaller 2" or less and there a lot, I mean A LOT of pickle chips (see last pic). It appears as though they limit the tomatoes to 9 per 1/2 gal container and fill the rest of the weight with pickle chips. Now, I like pickles, but I Did Not order pickles, I ordered Tomatoes ! So, if you are prepared to buy small pickled green tomatoes (with pickle chips) that are $4.10 EACH, fine. They Absolutely Do Taste Good, but at over $4 each, not the price point I would be looking at to buy regularly. This is why I only gave 3 stars . . .
