I'm glad we bought these and hope others have a similar experience. The reviews almost made us pass these by. The outside is firm, not what I'd call hard. They are not difficult to bite into. The inside is wonderfully soft and very sweet. The next time we give candy as a gift or wish to purchase some ourselves, I'd like to buy these again. They're good quality with cute wrappers. Our bag tastes quite fresh. No hint of staleness. High sugar, so try and stick with 2 or 3 pieces. They're currently about $6/bag, a good value compared to local candies. 😅 By the time I came back to write the review, the bag is gone. Next time, I'll update this with a few pictures.

My new favorite candy! My husband was concerned with how quickly I ate the package. It hits the sweet tooth just right. The texture has. A smooth, crispiness to it. It tastes very similar to the caramels my grandmother used to make. Possibly this is so good to me because of biased nostalgia. If your grandma also made you caramel, you might also enjoy
