Too much free play in the rubber foot
Well, shame on me for doubting the other reviewer who said these devices have too much free play in them. Sure enough, there's probably about 1/8" of lateral wiggle between the rubber puck and the metal housing, and that's just not acceptable for my workbench application.

Would be good if they actually were stable as claimed
I'm not sure where the claim that they eliminate any movement comes from as they have a good bit of play in them. We got this set as a trial before fitting all of our workbenches with them and glad we didn't get more.
