Hands down, this is one of the best air pumps I’ve ever owned. The top dial adjusts smoothly from 0% to 100%, and the level of control is outstanding—it honestly feels as precise as a DC pump on my saltwater system. Being able to fine-tune the airflow and bubble output has been perfect. It runs incredibly quiet—no noticeable hum like many other pumps. The four suction-cup feet keep it firmly in place inside the cabinet, and it easily powers the two included air stones. At full output it produces a ton of air, but I typically run mine around 20%, which is more than enough without excessive water movement or stressing the fish. I’m completely sold on this model. It will be my go-to air pump moving forward, and I highly recommend it for both saltwater and freshwater setups. I currently use one on each, and they perform flawlessly. I’ll also be keeping a spare on hand for a marine hospital/QT tank—the ability to truly dial in the airflow makes it ideal for that application as well as for fine-tuning a display tank.

I like it, gives good oxygen to my aquarium and that’s what I wanted. I wouldn’t say it’s completely quiet, like you can still hear it, but is not too loud. It does the job and the oxygen levels are easy to adjust, which I think is an awesome feature.

I am very pleased with this pump for my 29 gallon aquarium. I only need to set the pressure halfway, and it powers two under gravel filters. Almost totally silent , stays cool. It came with two back-valves as advertised, and they work great.

Best pump ever!!! Not only is the output equal, but the quietness of the pump. Love love love. I now have 2 of these, one for my 90 gallon tanks sponge filters, the other for my hydroponic propagation station. 1000% recommended, especially if constant loud humming noise is your situation with your current pump. Super easy to set up, size isnt bulky biut the size of toilet paper roll. I will be ordering again and again.

So i purchased this pump based on the reviews i saw and liked the fact this pump had two air ports. Well it definitely was a great purchase, so much so that i bought a second for my other 20 gallon pretty aold on this model, super quite cant even hear it in the cabinet, the adjustment for the flow is fantastic, having that ability right on the unit and not adding inline valves is a game changer. Running two lines with out breaks save for the check valves is great for keeping the air lines stealth. Really happy with the performance, adjustability and quietness. I'm really happy with the units and have a fluid bed filter in route, cant wait to see how the pump pushes that filter.

Very powerful, and more than I need for a 29 gallon. The unit is well made and easy to use. It does have a low frequency hum that increases with the air flow. Definitely, adds nice bubble effect.

Works beautifully. This item is a huge improvement from the very noisy “whisper” aerator. Worth the money. Love it!

This pump is AWESOME!! I bought it to replace a Whisper 100 hoping it would be quieter and WOW it doesn’t disappoint!! I’m using it on a 125 gallon and it’s running 2 x 60 gallon sponge filters and 2 air stones with no problem. It’s inside my tank cabinet and you can barely and I mean barely hear it run. With the FX6 running you don’t hear the pump at all!! It’s honestly 30-40% quieter than the Whisper 100. This is the only pump I will buy from now on and I’m setting up another 125 and a 75 gallon, they will both have these air pumps. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Highly recommended!

I love this pump! I got the 3W one for 4 of my tanks (30 gal, 20 gal long, 10 gal). It works well. It has a variable power adjustment and two independent outlets. For my 10 gal tanks, I joined together both outlets to get only one flow and it's perfect. I have one on my 30 gal tank with one outlet serving a sponge filter, air bubble maker and a breeding box, and the second outlet feeding my 5 gal tank sponge filter. And most of all, it is QUIET! I am planning to replace the pumps on my other tanks with this pump soon. Love it!

Wish I bought this air pump first! I got another brand that claimed to be "whisper quiet" but it doesn't compare to this! (the other brand started to get louder and the air flow would change intensity on its own or stop randomly)... Anyways this one is quiet, perfect amount of air flow for a 5 gal betta fish tank. Side note: (I tried to put one sponge filter and one of the air rock bubbler- for some reason with how low air the 3W is it didn't have enough to make the bubbles go through both tubing... unless i blasted it -which i didn't want! anyways not an issue for me as i had an extra connector for just the sponge..) Obviously only been using this for a day, will see how it holds up over the months to come.
