IN3146 WXGA 5000 Lumen Professional 3D Network Projector

I needed a new projector for my church. I literally googled "best projector for church". I was directed to an article describing the 5 best projectors for churches where the InFocus IN3144 was listed as #1 choice. Without doing due diligence, I hastily purchased the projector and had to spend $2,000 to have it installed due to the installation requiring a professional AV crew with access to a scissor lift.After installation was completed, I was appalled at how dim the projection was. I knew our last projector was 5,000 lumens, and I assumed that this projector that was advertised as being 5,000 lumens would have been at least as bright as the last one. I guess we all know what happens when you assume.If you are wanting a home projector and are on a budget, or you are buying a projector for a church that has worship in the dark (I realize that's becoming popular) this is a great choice for you. However, if you are wanting a projector that works well in a room with the lights on, do not make the same mistake I did. Spend the extra money to get a projector that is well-reviewed and actually puts out the amount of lumens that it advertises.

This projector is a step up from the 1200 lumens projectors. It's the main unit in our church auditorium now. It is not high deffinition - but good for our music slide presentations and missionary video clips. The remote works better than any we had before- and the setup was easy. These DLP projectors are better than the LCD ones in their price range. I would buy again.

I bought this for my business. It is easy to use and easy to install. I would highly recommend this for companies who do large presentations frequently.

We bought two of these projectors for our church and are projecting onto white walls in a room with a lot of ambient light. The picture and colors are very good. So far, it has been an excellent choice for the price. I wish there was more adjustment options via remote. I wasn’t able to adjust the horizontal keystone like I expected.

This works well with a small window and daylight and lights on in the room. Very clear and easy to see, even from far away. Seems slightly easier to see with presentations or bright cartoons than dark movies, but still good even on those. Worth every penny.

Projector worked perfectly for our business needs. It's bright even with the lights on. Quiet. We mount ours on the ceiling and everything works great. Had it for about 2 weeks now and like the purchase thus far.
