These wheel locks are a perfect addition to my 2016 F-150, providing extra security and peace of mind. The fit is precise, and installation was quick and easy with the included key. They blend in well with my rims and don’t stick out awkwardly like some other locks. The build quality and functionality feels solid and durable, giving me confidence that they’ll hold up against tampering or theft attempts. These have held up well against the elements, showing no signs of rust after a year of having them.

I have read all the reviews on this product (24216) and the 24220. Several reviewers pointed out that the 24220 sticks out a bit past the normal lugnuts so it looks bad. One reviewer stated he took measurements and recommended these 24216 for the GM full size trucks as it was a closer length to stock and shouldn't "bottom out" on the wheel stud. Well guess what, he was wrong. I had no problems putting them on at all, they torqued down properly too. But the first time I was taking these off, the key broke right off. I found a lot of rust (as you can see) which was disappointing, and I figured that was the problem. Keep in mind these had been on the truck for 1 week so any rust at all is dissapointing. I emailed McGard, and they noted I had the wrong locking nuts for my truck (which I technically new). They stated that the fracture was likely due to "bottoming out" on the wheel stud. Sure enough, if you look closely at my picture, you can see where the wheel stud did contact the locking part of the wheel lock. Long story short, use what McGard recommends. Don't get creative and try to use a different part because it will likely come back to bite you.

Decent product, but a bit too long. I have a 2025 Honda Pilot Black edition. They should trim the size to fit on the wheel lugs as the original lugs that Honda comes with. But overall, it fits very well.

although my charger is just a v6, and i probably don’t have to worry about getting it stolen out my driveway at 3am unlike v8 owners do, i was worried about walking out to my car and finding it sitting on bricks. i’d rather spend $50 and have a peace of mind then spend thousands on a set of new rims and tires!! so i did some research and found these wheel locks. it seemed like these were the only locks that matched my black chrome tires; the other ones were a regular chrome color. i look at the wheels of other chrysler and dodge cars and i see they have the same wheel lock with a clover pattern, so i feel at ease knowing other people find wheel locks to work nicely. it fits well on my car. you want a potential thief to see a wheel lock and move on to another car; they’re noticeable if you look for them. i saw other reviews discussing “rust” and the “key pattern getting stripped”, but thankfully i didn’t run into those problems yet. my mechanic shop removes and installs these with an impact driver, hopefully that doesn’t prematurely strip the key pattern and get these stuck on my tires. install was so easy my mechanic installed these for free in under a minute with an impact driver. i'm interested to see how these hold up during michigan winters… will they start to rust? i’ll definitely update this review if do they rust.
