Very, very comfortable, superb quality!
Quick delivery, nice presentation box, light weight earbuds, premium feel, pre charged out of the box, easy to fit on the ears. To program each earbuds touch settings you need to download the AI life app from Huawei, allegedly the app is not on play store. The main feature in my opinion is the comfort of these light open ear buds, worn all day without discomfort, outstanding when compared to other earbuds purchased. As the speaker is not in the ear canal, the base is not as deep as some others but I found them more than adequate and the clarity of sound better than most. The call quality, both spoken and received, are the best I have experienced especially when on a call outdoors. There are similar open earbuds if this type available however after looking at reviews on the web etc and then testing them, these met most requirements. Without doubt I am extremely happy with these earbuds, almost forgot, they also have an IP54 rating and do not fall off/out of my ears when exercising, thank you Huawei.

Impressive.
I purchased these ear buds mainly to listen to audio books via my Samsung tablet. I have tried several types of ear bud and found that conventional ones tend to fall out of my ear, even the ones with over ear support would not stay in place. I saw a pair of cheap clip on buds and thought I would give them a try. They were great staying in place all night their only downfall being the sound output was relativly poor and quite quiet. They lasted for about 6 montha before developing charging issues. Looking to replace them I saw the HUAWEI FreeClip buds and after reading the reviews decided to give them a try. I am very pleased that I did. The buds are very comfortable to wear alough you may need to fiddle a bit to get then in the best place. The sound quality is very good and I personally find the Bass output adequate for my needs. They are still quiet compaired to a in ear bud but as the whole idea of them is to be able to hear the world arround you they are fine and better than the cheaper pair I had previously. I have worn one overnight and forgot i had them on. I have used them to watch catchup TV on my tablet and found the sound to be perfect. My wife says she can't hear anythong when I am using them which is good. Finally I would recommend these buds, they are expensive and I would sudgest you try a cheaper pair first to see if you like the feel of the clip on design as the may not suit everyone.

Probably the best earbuds for glasses wearers
Before committing to a big ticket purchase, I tried an inexpensive pair of a similar (‘ear-clip’) design to test proof of concept and found they offered a useful solution to the ongoing problem of how to accommodate an over-ear (‘hook’) style ear bud or headset with glasses sharing the same crowded head space! Job done on the concept front, so I looked at upgrading to the excellent Bose Ultra Open, but bulked at paying north of £250! Anyway, fast-forward to now and these HUAWEI ear clips offer much better value for money than the Bose and to be honest, can’t really be faulted on performance or functionality, nicely secure (but virtually imperceptible), no wind noise, but you still remain spatially aware when walking/running/cycling, plenty of volume and crisp reproduction, together with the aforementioned inherent comfort of the design. The one negative thing is the inability to control the volume from the buds themselves. But I think I can live with that considering they excel everywhere else! Update… at the last software update, a facility to alter the volume was incorporated. One tap and hold on the small bud to increase, tap and hold on the large one to reduce the sound. Works well!

Smooth with Bite
Received my Arcs this morning and on first impressions all is good. I also have the clips which I found extremely impressive. These are of a similar sound tuning but not quite as immersive, however, the sound is just about on parr with the clips having a smooth sound but with bite. Bass is there when needed and is of a deep natural quality as opposed to Sub Bass. One thing I did find with the clips is that the sound did get better after a burn in time, something that I have always scoffed at. They are extremely comfortable and seem to find the right place to sit in your ears on their own, without the user sliding and twisting for position. I did buy these from Huawei uk direct as I couldn't wait to get hold of them.(preorder waiting time was less than Amazon). So, if you were looking for a quick review and judgement on the arcs and not the Clips as these reviews show..?? then here you go. Worth every penny Imo, and I've bought loads of buds over the years. GET THEM.!!!

Superior Sound Quality
Make no mistake the sound quality on these earbuds is incredible, considering they are open ear. Very comfortable, almost too comfortable, because you almost forget you're wearing them, which is a problem if they get knocked off. These are my 2nd pair and I'll never go back to the over ear or in ear earphones. Bought a pair of Huawei Free Arcs for my outdoor workouts because they have the ear clip, but the Free Clips are definitely of a superior quality. I'm loving the HD Spatial Audio feature which give the sound an immersive feeling. Big, big Huawei fan and these are another addition to the collection

Highly recommended
These Huawei open-earbuds are truly fantastic. The open-ear design is extremely comfortable, and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. The sound quality is clear and balanced, with a surprisingly good bass for open earbuds. I also love that I can stay aware of my surroundings, which is perfect for commuting. If you download the Huawei freeclip app, you can adjust the sound effects and change the tap gesture responses, but I found that the default settings were just fine. Call quality is awesome too - much better than my in-ear buds. The battery life is pretty decent, and I love that I can charge the case wirelessly or with the supplied charger. I’m really pleased with these open-earbuds and definitely recommend them.

The Huawei FreeClip’s innovative open-ear design has made me question why I ever tolerated in-ear buds. These are game-changers for all-day wear, with shockingly good audio quality for their minimalist form. Why They’re Unique: ✔ C-Shaped Clip Design – Stays secure without cramming into ear canals (bye-bye, pressure pain!). ✔ Lightweight & Invisible – Forgets you’re wearing them (perfect for work calls or workouts). ✔ Surprisingly Rich Bass – Audio projects clearly even in noisy cafés. ✔ All-Day Battery – 8hrs + 16hrs with case (fast-charges in 10 mins).

I had many earbuds and headsets of all kinds along the last years, from the cheapest range to the most expensive range, from known brands to 'brandless'. This definitely becomes one of my very few and limited picks! What I like: - great/clean sound quality and volume for voice, as calls, meetings, audiobooks, videos - very comfortable and light - stays very well and stable on the ear, does not drop or goes off unless you pull it off, even if sporting (vs those which simply hang on the ear, easily dropping on movement; vs those which surround the ear for stability but compromising the comfort) - first one I experience having a battery which is able to carry some hours of actual use, allowing me to have multiple meetings in a row without the need to charge or suddenly run out of battery (as many others) - doesn't conflict with the use of glasses - noise canceling mic: nice surprise here - I needed to take a call on the move, while walking a noise street in windy day, and feedback from my interlocutor: "hear you loud and clear, despite some crackling time to time... I'd not guess that you are on the street right now" - tbh I'm amazed, didn't expect that for something that is not even in front of my mouth. - it's open ear - yeah, this is debatable: some people prefer in-ear or over-ear with physical sound isolation, which bothers me; I actually prefer the open-ear concept for the comfort despite the lack of isolation. neutral or arguable: - it may look like earrings What I dislike: - sound quality for music... but let me be clear here: this is something I dislike with every single earbud I used or tested, they ALL lack bass - regardless of what tech they use, how they describe or what they promise and guarantee. So don't take me wrong that THIS device is bad with bass... actually all of these devices (or this kind of earphones) are bad with bass, and this one is just among the average-to-better of the category => just accept that this kind of device will never deliver true deep bass, and you will be happy with it. * clarifying noise canceling: it does not have noise canceling for the hearing speakers, as being an open bud it would not make sense anyway, but it does have mic noise canceling so to improve what others hear from you. bottom line: If ALL you look for is hearing great music quality, with good bass, a big headset/headphone surrounding the ears is the way to go, because the size and weight of the drivers matter! I'm convinced that earbuds like this or any other lightweight miniaturized device will never suffice that strength and depth capacity - otherwise, if that is not all you look for, this unit is the best all-in-all miniature lightweight earbud I ever had, and I can't recommend any other!
