Perfect for my Nikno D610!

As the title states I use this cable to take astrophotography pictures where the mount sends exposure time to the camera which is in Bulb mode. Functionally works well, good quality.

I have a Canon EOS R6 and wanted to use with the Star Adventurer built in intervalometer to trigger my camera. I tested it and it appears to work just fine.

Successfully connected a JJC JM-11 Receiver remote to an Olympus EM-1 Mk II. Simple plugs at both ends, this combination was very difficult to find. Excellent value for money, when you leave your cable at home :)

Final update: After receiving and testing the new version of this cable, I'm happy to report that it works! Now the AF and shutter both work exactly as expected with my Shutterboss II, so I've updated my review to 5 stars. It's nice knowing that there are still some sellers out there that will take care of you if you have problems. Thanks! --------- Update: After my initial 1-star review I was contacted by the seller, who confirmed with the manufacturer that this cable is indeed not compatible with the E-M10 II. They've updated the listing to reflect this, and have offered to send me a new version of the cable that should be compatible. So I've increased my review to 3 stars for good customer service, and I'll review the new Ver 2 cable once it arrives. Thanks! -------------- Original review: This cable didn't work on my OM-D E-M10 Mk II (I prefer to not use the WiFi remote app if I can help it). The cable fit very loosely in the camera's remote port and never worked properly. If I held it in the port tightly I could get my Vello Wireless Shutterboss II to activate the AF, but it never successfully triggered the shutter. It seems as if the plastic surrounding the camera-end connector is possibly too long or the connector itself it too short, and doesn't allow the connector to fit fully into the camera's port. This could be a one-off manufacturing defect, but I ended up returning it and ordering one made by Vello, which was sold-out when I originally purchased this item.

This remote cable is very delicate and became erratic. Turns out the part that connects to the camera it's now defective and intermittently makes contact. So this is no longer useful as I don't know if I can rely on it anymore. Reading reviews from other people buying from all vendors this cable is very delicate, too delicate. The wire casing should be more robust. I will order from another vendor and reinforce it by putting some shrink tubing on the part that connects to the camera because that is where it failed.
