Upgrade Aluminum Thermostat Housing compatible with 2007-2013 Mini Cooper Cooper S Countryman JCW 1.6L Replace 11537534521

This is my second one the fit perfect and thermostat can be changed if need and the sensors can also be change.

Works perfect and nicely done

Fits well. Thought it would be an upgrade but it doesn’t work right. It ended up setting faults for coolant temperature. Swapped out with a OEM plastic unit due to this one failing

I just got this installed last week, the gasket is amazing, best ever seen. The aluminum housing is slick. Well made. The two sensors sent with the unit, likely garbage. The original housing is molded. I cannot find a replacement thermostat sensor for this removable one. However I can swap the coolant temp sensor and see if it works. So far.. I’m only impressed with looks

Did not work. Installed it, but it does not open as the car heats up. Defective.

Amazing quality! Beautifully polished, perfect fit and finish. 100x better than the standard plastic housing. Also comes with protective shipping covers for the connections and a new bleed valve. Just waiting on new silicone replacement hoses to complete this upgrade. Highly recommend!

Thermostat did not open when it was meant to allow the car to overheat the neck of the thermostat where it joins the crossover pipe was too long and item arrive broken not enough to stop fitting but mainly item didn’t work.
