Most reviews talk about using this while hiking - is this also good for use while running?

I don’t run anymore, but it seems like it would work well for running. It has adjustable chest straps that hold it securely in place. It sits in the center of your back so you are free to swing your arms. The only drawback I have found is the bite-valve takes a little getting used to.

Could this fit a 3l bladder?

It can hold a 3L bladder no more than 15" high. 2.5L bladder is more suitable.
