Love it
So far so good. This unit replaced our Hsaek Hydrovac that died after 2 years. The Bissell is easy to use and allows you to control the cleaner delivery with the push of a button, unlike others that just supply a contract stream.of liquid. This Vacuum does a great job on tile and laminate and even works well on carpet when needed. Biggest question is how long will it last, which I'm hoping is longer than the Shark. Time will tell, but so far it's been great and seems to be of high quality.

truly worth every penny
It saves me so much time and effort. What really impressed me is how powerful and efficient it is. It picks up dirt, pet hair, and debris effortlessly while leaving my floors spotless and fresh. I’ve used it on tile, hardwood, and area rugs, and the results have been consistently excellent across all surfaces. Another huge plus is how easy it is to use and maintain. The design is intuitive, the controls are simple, and cleaning the machine after use is quick and hassle-free. The separate clean and dirty water tanks ensure you’re always cleaning with fresh water, which makes a noticeable difference. If you’re looking for a versatile, time-saving, and high-performance cleaning solution, I highly recommend the Bissell CrossWave Turbo. It’s truly worth every penny!

Love it despite a couple design flaws
Absolutely love the convenience of this item. It is a huge time saver by doing both the vacuuming and mopping at the same time. It works well and does a much better job than using a sponge mop. A once over with the Crosswave and the floor was as clean as when I scrub it with a brush - with far less effort. I am so glad I purchased it. I have 4 dogs, so dog hair is always an issue. I know there is a pet model, but I have not had any problem with this one handling the dog hair and bigger pieces of debris that they bring in. There are a couple things I'd like to see the developers improve upon in a future model. 1. Having the freshwater tank on the back of the handle makes the handle very heavy when it's full. I'd rather see the fresh water on the front of the machine for better balance. 2. The brush head is too light. I've found if you use the Crosswave like a normal vacuum, the front end is too light and when you extend your arm forward, the front of the brush head lifts off the floor. I'd like to see some weight to the brush head so that you can push it forward like a regular vacuum. I have been able to adapt by making shorter passes and keeping my arm lower to the ground when extending it farther out (such as under a table), but it can be uncomfortable. 3. I would like the brush to get closer to the wall. I have noticed that it leaves about a 2-inch gap between the wall and the wet area from the mop when running it parallel to the wall. This is unfortunate as plenty of debris and dirt gets along my walls. I did find that if you go straight towards the wall (perpendicular) you can get a lot closer - which brings me to point 4. 4. Better swivel of the brush head. Once I figured out that I needed to go perpendicular to the wall to get a better clean, I found that in close spaces (such as a hallway), the swivel where the handle attaches to the brush head was not as much as I would like. My vacuum has much better swivel, so that I can stand off to the side and run the brush at a sharp angle. An improvement in this area would make the machine much more comfortable to use when in tight spots. Overall, despite these few things I think could be improved upon, I love the machine and find it saves significant time and gets the floor cleaner than the mop. I highly recommend and have told all my friends!

Cleans well but has cons
This hydro vac was ok. I found it to be bit clunky and heavy for me. Pros: it cleaned fairly well and I like that I can choose if I want it to put more water/cleaner on the floor. You can just go over the areas that you mopped and it seems to dry it. The clean water tank is pretty decent size cons: Doesn’t get close enough to base boards The dirty water tank doesn’t separate the debris from dirty water. I don’t want all of that pet hair going down my sink drain. It was kinda gross pulling the hair out so I could dump the dirty water. I ended up pouring it into the toilet. I definetly couldn’t use this on my stairs.

Wow, what an improvement
I've had a Hoover model from yesteryear which is still running strong, but it's seen better days. When this model went on sale, I thought I'd give it a try. I don't need a ton of bells and whistles. I just need a solid machine to clean my floors. It wasn't until this arrived and I cleaned a couple of rooms that I realized what a HUGE improvement in technology this was. From picking up excess water to the effective use of the water it does dispense. When I emptied out the dirty water tank, it was saturated with the dirt it picked up off the floor and I vacuum daily! I had just cleaned the floors the prior day with my old unit. Wow. One of the things I most appreciated is the self cleaning mode of the brush. Huge win! You can replace them like mop heads as well. Perfect! There is literally nothing I don't like about the Crosswave. I do want to mention a couple things regarding some complaints I've read about this unit. Yes, you have to clean it after every use. How is that unreasonable? That's just plain lazy if it's upsetting to anyone. You empty the dirty tank. You rinse off all the hair, grime and dirt left clinging to parts and if the filter is doing its job, it's going to get dirty and you'll want to replace it eventually. This machine has a self-cleaning button that literally cleans the brush head for you after your cleaning session is complete. How amazing and convenient! You can't just walk away from it like a robotic, self emptying robot. I've tried those and they are not even close to being effective. The technology has a very long way to go to meet the cleaning quality of this Bissell. It's also not meant for carpets, so please don't have unrealistic expectations. Don't expect it to perform like a carpet cleaner or a dedicated vacuum cleaner. It's meant to do one thing and it does it really well. It cleans hard floors squeaky clean. I have a robotic vacuum that runs on a daily schedule. It gets rid of the majority of dog hair, dust and dirt that gets trailed in from going in and out of the house. By adding this once a week to the routine, my floors are clean enough to eat off of. If you're not keeping your floors fairly clean throughout the week, don't expect this unit to become an industrial cleaner. That's not what it's meant for. I especially love how easy it is to maneuver as well as how little water it uses for being as effective as it is. I've just recently edited this review since my purchase several weeks ago and I'm still sticking to the 5 stars. It's my new favorite appliance in the house.

Love, Love, LOVE — Especially for Floors With Grooves
The Bissell CrossWave has become one of my absolute favorite cleaning tools. I love, love, love this thing. It’s especially amazing on floors with little grooves or texture—places where dirt gets stuck and sweeping just doesn’t cut it. The CrossWave pulls everything out effortlessly. It’s easy enough to use for daily mopping, which is a huge win. The suction is great, it doesn’t leave puddles behind, and it uses just the right amount of water. For quick, light mopping or everyday cleanups, it’s perfect. My floors look cleaner with way less effort, and I don’t feel like I’m dragging out a whole production just to tidy up. If you want something that vacuums and washes at the same time without being messy or heavy, this is such a good choice. It’s become a staple in my cleaning routine.

Disappointed, back to mopping
Owned for six months, used five or six times. Pros: - The brush picked up some ancient ground-in dirt on a textured ceramic tile floor. I am grateful for that. - The floor is dry very quickly after use, no standing water. - It combines two actions into one; no need to vacuum and then manually mop. Cons: - After a few uses, I have started to get an awful squeal, and it's not picking up like it did at first. If you've ever driven a car with an ignition key, then you know never to turn the key while the car is running. That's the noise this vacuum is making now. I assume it's a bad belt, and think I will disassemble it soon. But I'll be honest, plain old mopping was less hassle. - After using it, you must remove five parts (bin, float, filter, roller brush, and brush cover) and let them air dry somewhere for 24 hours. For me, it means a crowded bathroom counter. - Assumed that the brush would be powerful enough to get light shoe marks off a linoleum floor. It's not. I get the same amount of cleanliness with a mop. - The built in sprayer is insufficient on a dry floor. I "pre wet" the floor with a watering can before vacuuming. - Very, very loud when in good operating condition. EDIT 10/25/25 Updated review from 1 star to 3 to reflect a few changes. The awful squeal and lack of pickup turned out to be a stuck float in the (empty) water tank. I am using the vacuum more regularly in my kitchen. It's not perfect, but is working well.

It works well for hard floors
This vacuum works well on my vinyl plank floor. It is better than using a mop or disposable sweepers. It takes a bit of practice to use but once you get the right motion, as far as, squeezing the trigger while moving forward to release the cleaner, then pulling it back towards you to vacuum up the dirty water. Once you get the sequence down, it cleans well and leaves the floor almost dry. I did not find it to be effective on my carpet, other than you can use it to pick up a spill if you get it on it immediately after it happens. It has a small capacity for cleaning solution and also for the waste water, but it is sufficient enough to clean my average size kitchen and bathroom floor, without stopping to empty. I clean it by spilling water on the floor and sucking it up with the machine a few times. Then empty the waste water bottle.

Super!! Recomiendo
