Delicious!
Delicious peppery flavor. I add these to cold summer salads for a bit more flavor. They cook quickly and easily. The quality of the lentils is quite good with consistency through the whole bag with very little waste.

Very tasty
Very good taste, I was concerned about the packaging after many reported receiving this product opened spilling lentils inside the shipping container. I can happily report mine was packaged sturdiely and arrived intact. The cooked up nicely, providing extra protein to my diet. The size and appearance is appropriate, with good value.

The caviar of Legumes!!!
I started cooking middle eastern dishes and one called for black lentils, which I wasn't aware even existed until I jumped on Amazon and found out that indeed they do.....exist. And they are really tasty. Before using them in a recipe I cooked 1/2 cup, seasoned them and ate them off crackers and cream cheese. They are fabulous. Just like itty bitty caviar. Cook them well and spice them up. As always the price was good, better than I expect and they came very quickly. Amazon is now my "Legume" place.

Perfect
I'm very picky about food. I usually don't order on line. Beluga lentils are a staple of my diet. I was out and busy. I was so glad to see American produced lentils. They are absolutely perfect. Clean, excellent flavor and quality. And it's a real plus to support American farmers. Ordering again.

great taste
these are wonderful lentils, nutty, earthy, ideal for lentil salad. while there were no cooking directions on the package, I used a recipe that called for black beluga lentils so got cooking instructions there.

Very good Like that’s it’s organic if I’m making a super healthy soup. Protein is good. Takes on the flavors of the spices you use. Descent value for the money.
