I love this book stand! It is precisely what I was looking for in both functionality and aesthetics. I has a beautiful rustic stained appearance that will compliment a wide array of stylistic choices. It is very lightweight, and sits at a perfect height. It's perfect for your day-to-day use or simply as an attractive design/staging piece for your space. Pros: easy assembly, holds a variety of book sizes, lightweight/easy to move, easy to store when not in use. Cons: the product will piece apart if not held/carried carefully It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen, definitely recommend!

This little cookbook stand has been a game changer in the kitchen. Also so cute and adds to the decor! Long story but hang in there with me - I recently slept on my neck wrong and since I've reached the ripe old age of late 20s that meant pain for days over the smallest movements, including but not limited to, looking down at a cookbook on the counter. Cut to me searching for a cheap book stand on amazon and 2 days later this little life saver arrived in the mail. No more looking down and my aging neck muscles are much appreciative. It's functional and has worked to hold big hard bound books and smaller soft backs. I didn't have the issue other reviews mentioned of it tipping over if the book was opened to the very front or back. Overall incredibly easy and straight forward to assemble with no screws involved. It comes in three pieces that you fit together in slots. Aesthetic wise it's simple and neutral which is exactly what I was looking for. Like some others mentioned, it does have some lighter splotches that are not fully saturated with stain. They are small and, when in use, are covered by the book. For $10.45 including tax it was still a steal in my book (haha get it) and I'd buy again if I needed another. Probably wouldn't purchase as a gift though because of the unfinished looking areas.

I bought this hoping I could use it for a bread board stand and it works great! Love it! So easy to put together, the color is darker than the picture and I love that!

The first one came broken so I got an exchange. I like the look, but it is not sturdy at all. You cannot open a cookbook and use this as a stand to read a recipe. Its okay to showcase a light book, but I would not recommend it for usage in the way it is shown. It is very light, cheap wood, and the pieces do not stay together at all.

As soon as I took it out of the box I was impressed. A little darker than the photo but still a great shade. The stand is lightweight, easy to assemble, and looks and feels pretty durable. I placed a large heavy book in it to see if it will hold it up or fall over and it held up pretty well. I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend this stand.
