I honestly didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. If you’ve ever carried a baby on your hip for more than a few minutes, you know how quickly your arm, shoulder, and lower back start complaining. That’s exactly why this carrier is such a game changer. The Butt Baby Hip Carrier basically acts like a little seat for your baby that straps around your waist. Instead of holding all your child’s weight with your arms, the weight sits on the seat and distributes through your hips. The difference is immediate. What I love most: • Super easy to put on – it’s just one belt around your waist. No complicated wrapping or figuring out straps while your baby is squirming. • Amazing for quick ups and downs – perfect for babies who want to be held and then put down every two minutes. • Saves your back and arms – the seat carries most of the weight. I can hold my baby much longer without fatigue. • Good storage – there’s actually decent space for diapers, wipes, phone, keys, etc. It’s especially great for older babies or toddlers who are constantly wanting to look around and interact with the world. Traditional carriers can feel restrictive at that stage, but the hip seat feels very natural. A couple small things to keep in mind: • It’s not a hands-free carrier unless you add the optional shoulder harness. • It works best once your baby has good neck control. Overall though, it’s become one of those things I grab every single time we leave the house. For errands, walks, airports, restaurants — it just makes life easier.
