Taste and the texture. These at least had almonds on them!
These were pricey—why are Chinese almond cookies so expensive? Not very many in the package— also pretty beat up, cracked , a lot of crumbs.

Inedible.
These cookies were absolutely awful. I bought them to use for a culture class I'm teaching. All cookies were so badly broken, they were actually more of a powder. When I tasted a broken portion, it was like eating almond flour, very disappointing. The worst part is, you can't return these. DO NOT BUY.

Larger size but very hard; taste great though
I like the larger size and you get 18 per box. Taste the same as their smaller size but you get more per box and they are much larger.

A good choice
The valid comparison is with the #1 Macau almond cookies made by the Chui Heong bakery on Rua do Gamboa in Macau. This Choi Heong Yuen version misses a little on texture and flavor. But it’s available on Amazon!
