Easy to install and a bang for your buck!
I’m very satisfied. The installation process was straightforward and much easier than expected. I simply removed the original unit and installed this one without any complications. Everything lined up well, and the fit was perfect. After installation, it worked immediately and has been operating smoothly without any issues. The tilt and trim function responds quickly and reliably. Overall, this is a great replacement part that does exactly what it’s supposed to do for a great price. If you're looking for a dependable and easy-to-install tilt and trim unit, I would definitely recommend this one.

No Modification First Time Fit
First time fit installation without any modification on my 2015 Mercury 90 hp 4 stroke outboard. Unit works as expected out on the lake.

This was not a direct replacement, it required a bit of work
The bottom mounting hole was off location, and I had to grind the bottom to clear the brackets on my 2008 115 mercury. Once I had it all together, I realized they did not drill the trilug mounting hole. It shows it in the picture. I had to drill it through the chromed surface. It seems to work ok, it should give me time to rebuild the OE one

What does it take to get what you ordered, without issues?
Looks great until your halfway through the installation to find that the upper cylinder pin bore is too small. How can this happen with a part number match? Easy, made in China! Are you going to reimburse me for time and materials to fix this, I highly doubt it. It works fine after the extra work, for the unit with NO manual or warranty paperwork. Thanks Amazon, for yet another lack of proper info from your merchants.

Works great
After difficulty finding proper unit for 2001 mercury classic, I decided to order this one and give it a try. After testing, everything fit except top of rod mounting hole that was too small. I drilled it out on drill press to proper diameter and it worked perfectly.
