Bring an entire film crew to the comfort of your own home. This is exactly how I felt when I first initially used the camera. Being able to record in 4k at 30FPS is amazing because the footage looks crisps clear and the mic sounds amazing! I know that the camera is a bit on the steep side on pricing but it’s well worth every cent. I like the fact that you’re able to control all of the cameras functionality via your cell phone through the app or through iPad. The best part about it is the four thirds lens mount. Allowing to pic which ever lens you want and use it with the camera as long as it’s compatible with it. Not only that the camera is wireless!! It gives your approximately 6 hours of battery life on one charge. No more cable spaghetti in your backpack. So if you are a content creator or you’re into streaming and you’re looking to step up your camera game, this one is for you.

I already used Mevo Starts and Mevo Multicam to stream baseball games. I couldn’t wait to find a zoom option from centerfield - over the pitcher’s shoulder. Tried my iPhone but it didn’t zoom in far enough. I was excited when the Core finally came (although I still cringe a little at the cost). Paired with a decent lens, it has exceeded my hopes: doesn’t overheat in the sun, WiFi reaches my router, battery lasts for hours, focus is simple and good enough, and it has survived a couple tripod tip-overs. For this streaming purpose (it’s all I use it for) I would recommend it, despite the cost. Capturing this additional angle makes watching and rewatching the games so much more enjoyable for everyone.

I think podcasters (one camera that can give you “multiple angles”) and people wanting to live stream outside of their usual space from time to time will find a lot of value in this. It also doesn’t do a bad job at all simply being a camera. I’ve shot one nice b-roll with it. Lastly it offers a professional polish & quality to your zoom calls if that is something you value, especially paired with a great fixed focal wide lens like a 14mm. As a creator, I’m very happy to own this.

New mevo core received, focus mechanism not working, was told that lens wasn't compatible. Ordered new lens and same issue. Technical support worst i have ever seen with company selling a higher priced unit. Returned....hopes this review help you make a decision when thinking about purchasing the mevo core. I have the mevo multiscreen units and was planning to add the core for another angle at a distance. Will have to look for another option. Logitech does not supply support for mevo core, and they do not have a number for live assistance. Chir is available by email contac. I found this to be a very difficult way to troubleshoot the issue. The response time is very lengthy and Chris was not helpful at all to resolve the issue......very disappointed in mevo and their support system.

I was hesitant to add another mevo to my setup, not because I don't love them, but they have a couple key limitations. This one blew me away. The micro 4/3 mount and the Vario lens I purchased with it give me pro quality options on a wireless camera. They have already updated a couple of times allowing 4k streaming, etc... Great options with the add on mounts, and the clean HDMI out really make this a broadcast / pro quality option. Definitely will add more to the collection.

This is by far the best camera quality you can get in a dedicated USB or wireless camera. Putting on the lens that fits your needs gives you so much flexibility. I'm using mine as a webcam that offers real camera bokeh and quality without the flaky software and connectivity. The software has improved significantly over time. My only issue is that active auto-focus doesn't work. You have to use the software to click and focus on a point, and it stays at that length. Also, it's expensive but you know that.

I never thought my streaming quality could be this high. Great product to use and easy to set up!
