Milkshake

this is one of the best dance songs ever. but the remixes honestly are sooooooo good. I died listening to them. Really fun really campy and just awesome.

This is the first track off Kelis' new cd and it finally breaks her wide open in the US market. The single "Milkshake" produced by The Neptunes tries to put R&B back into a dance groove that has been missing with all the sound a like rap and R. Kelly type ballads. Already a number one club record on Billboard's Club Play chart it is top 3 Pop and R&B . This cd single comes with 4 full length vocal mixes that range from house to sort of hip hop/house mixes. The mixes are: 1- Milkshake (radio version) 3:05 2- X-Press 2 Triple Thick Vocal Mix(9:30) 3- DJ Zinc Remix(5:59)- a bit more techno. 4- FreQ Nasty's Hip Hall Mix(6:24) with rap by Spoonface-best mix 5- Tom Neville Remix(6:26)- best house mix Just a brilliant song from top to bottom- a little inuendo never hurt no one. Too bad Arista didn't put out a US single. CD from the UK.

Kelis redeemed herself as a sultry and naughty diva from somewhere! The video for this single is a far cry from others' she's made, and a much "teasy" video for a first single set the pattern for Kelis' album contents. "Milkshake" is not your ordinary R&B, if Beyonce got famous for positive lyrics, Kelis laid in a pool of seductive and semi explicit jargons. This single is set to fire up 2004 as expected because of the dark beats and the whole interpretation but I suspect the second single would suffer if she could not cement an image fit for her, as an entertainer in the public eye. Let's see if Kelis would clamour longevity.

this song 'milkshake' is.... great..... just inuendo everywhere in this single...produced by the neptunes this single reached number 2 in the top 200...launced her already know carrer. 'milkshake' is kind of different... not your typical pop/r&b song. the video is not all that great BUT the song makes the video awesome... the remixes are alright but nothing beats the original....this single LP is great if you like the original but the remixs are not all that. 5 stars out of 5: just for the original version

I did a search for Kelis Milkshake on my phone and this mess popped up. I was expecting the fun original version but could not see on the small image that this is a pair of remixes. They basically took all of the fun out of the original and added some other artists that just ruined it for me. I wish I could just return it. I still can't find the original. That was a fun song.

IT'S OKAY I THINK THAT THEY SHOULD ADD ED THE ORIGINAL SOUND VERY I ON OF MILKSHAKE AS WELL.

I dont care if its x rated or not, I love this song, I play it over and over, I mean the lyrics are catchy. My Milkshake Brings All The Boys To The Yard and There Like It's Better Than Yours Damn Right It's Better Than Yours I Can Teach You But I Have To Charge. At least in the music video she has her fiance Nas who is also a famous rapper in it. He's the guy that is ringing the bell at the resturant. CHECK IT OUT ON [...]

wow i was surprised the first time i heard Milkshake, cause i had a brain damage when i heard her first single from Kaleidoscope " Caught out there " that " I hate you so much right now" i thought she was sayng that to me... but anyways this single ROCKS!!! all the mixes are excellent , but the outstanding one here is No.2 Xpress 2 mix is EXCELLENT when this one is played on my club, people get crazyyyyyy
