Review: "Triumph T140 Owners You Need This Book " - If you own a Triumph Bonneville T140 this book will be invaluable to you. I have owned my 1977 Bonny since new and pretty much have done all my own repairs and maintaining. I have Haynes, Clymer and the factory manual, but this is the most straightforward repair / restoration book I've ever used. Bonnevilles did change over the years...but he covers the basics with text and photographs that will help any Bonny T140 owner. I am putting my Triumph back on the road after a 5 year hiatus and I found this book entirely by chance....you will not go wrong purchasing this book and adding it to your Triumph Bonneviile Library.

Unbelievably Good
The combination of good photos and accompanying text is like watching a video of a complete restoration - but without having to rewind and find a spot if you want to recheck something. So glad I got this book as I begin my restoration project.

Very useful book for T140 owner
Good book... Its not exactly "do this in exactly this order" workshop manual (you will need the factory manual and parts book too if you intend to do any serious restoration work), it's more like having a trusted mate telling you what he discovered and the best way he found to solve any problems he encountered , and sharing his thoughts on the whole restoration process of the T140. I've had my Bonneville for 45 years and was once very familiar with working on it, but it's sat neglected for about 25 years and I've forgotten much of it, so this book is a good first step to get my head in gear to begin a long awaited restoration.

Best purchase I made
This turned out to be the best purchase of the project. Coupled with the factory manual, it told me all I needed. So much better than Haynes.

Not enough details
This book is helpfull for restoration of motorcycles in general, but it misses all the relevant details, and hints and tricks of restoring Triumph twin motorcycles like the covered 140 model. The pre 78-twins have ten secrets about every little bolt mounted on them :-) If you really want to overhaul a Bonneville 140 then you require the parts book, the workshop manual and beside a lot of information of somebody who knows this bikes well or you deep investigation of the one and only Triumph forum.
