After cleaning my carpet i apply it, and it absolutely repels accident from my dog, the urine did not go into the carpet it actually stayed on top for easy clean up, that's really one of the reasons I purchased it

Love this stuff it you have animals or kids that spill I highly recommend. Just spray and let dry (outside if possible little smell when you spray but dries quickly and no smell )
