A good brush for a shedding dog. Cleans itself. Just push the button a few times and it pushes the hair out of the brush.

This brush WORKS!!! Both my cats absolutely love brushing time. BEFORE: It used to be such a dreaded chore; wrangle the cat, hold them down and try to get whatever brush I had been using to lift the excess fur out of their coats while cat hair was floating away and getting everywhere except in the brush. NOW: I click the brush open they literally come running. Most times they’ll flop over and stretch out and just wait to be brushed. Even when I’m done they’ll nudge the brush with their heads wanting more. Then it’s a simple click of the button and all that fur ejects in a nice bundle to toss. Less hacking hair balls for them and no more Wild West cat fur tumble weeds blowing about for me!! SO thankful for this product!

I really liked this brush initially. I've had it about 3 months now, and about 3 weeks ago, the push-button mechanism that retracts the bristles to make cleaning the brush easy started to stick. In order to clean the brush now, I have to pull the dog hair out with the bristles still up, and then the bristles may or may not retract. As far as a brush, it works really well, and my dogs seem to enjoy getting brushed with it, but the retractable feature, which I really loved, seems to be a dud for me, which is why I can only give 3 stars.

This is a must for dog hair. It’s incredible. I really like that no touching hair after brushing. Push the button and comes out in a solid piece. No need to touch anything. My golden and I both love it. You won’t regret this purchase!

I love the hertzko self cleaning slicker brush! This is my 3rd one. My kids keep stealing them for their animals. It’s easy to use. I have arthritis and the button to retract the bristles is really easy to push. I appreciate how easy it is to keep clean as well. They’re very durable, lightweight and comfortable to use. It’s a quality product for a great price.
