Do these fit American Ball and Kerr jars? If so, is it regular or wide-mouth?

YES!!! They do!...ISn't THAT just great! The 88mm fits WIDEmouth and the 70mm fits REGULAR BALL & KERR.The only thing is that some of the sellers do not have the right pictures up to what their Amazon ad says...So you may want to double check with the seller. By the way...Goodman's is where I buy all of mine and even THEY don't know that these fit the Ball/Kerr jars. Hope that helped! If you are canning then these only work ONCE for that...although you can continue to reuse them if you are just putting other things in your jars for the fridge or cupboards or for odds and ends where you don't HAVE to HAVE a canning seal to it.

Are these entirely metal or is there a coating on the inside? do they have a seal where water doesn't spill?

These lids are coated on the inside with a seal. Picture a one piece version of a mason jar canning lid. I use these on the tall bottles as water bottles in my house and also for taking in the car sometimes. They never leak.

Are these really only one time use for canning ?

The lids are 1 piece lids that will fit "wide mouth" jars with a 86 mm jar opening. The lids are made in Italy and typically are 1-time use when water-bathing, steam, plotting, and pressure canning. If you are using it for storage purposes they are viable for years. With that being said I do know of some of my local customers that have used them more than 1-time for canning but I can not recommend it since there are food safety concerns.

Bormioli Wide Mouth Lids

These are FANTASTIC. The seal is excellent. They are much better than the ones by BALL. I have been using them for about a year and they have not rusted at all. I definitely recommend them

Excellent Lids to fit all my same excellent brand containers

Excellent product! Tight fitting, no leaking and nice to store my special Blackberry sage tea in as well as gift I like to do for friends & family. I have purchased several glass containers and lids all same manufacturer and Amazon NEVER lets me down with perfect sellers- I love this brand!

Excellent product, form long time user

I use these all the time for quart jars that I buy from the thrift store for dry food storage- items like extra sugar, beans and rice. The lids are nicer because they seal completely with the coated insides and I don't have the bother of messing with rings and lids. I also use the Quattro amphora shaped jars for homemade jelly as they are so unusual looking.

Perfect one piece lids for wide mouth mason jars.

Love my Bormiolo containers and these lids work perfectly with my wide mouth mason jars too. They are one piece and have a nice inner seal for containing liquids without leaking. We use our mason jars constantly now that we have these lids.
