I recently replaced the battery in my 2015 BMW X1 as the car told me it was low, 3 months after it literally just stopped working, the 3 volt battery still had 3.15 volts but nothing would work, I tried the sync but that didn't work, I also tried another new battery with 3.21 volts, but that didn't work, so after looking on the net sombody said only BMW supplied batteries work properly and they use VARTER ones, so I ordered these, and yep, popped it in and it now works! Not only that but the range is far better and I've also noticed the foot kick boot opener works every time not 1 in 3+ kicks to open, coincidence maybe but it's noticeable! Funny thing is, the VARTER also had 3.2 volts like the other battery that didn't work....... Strange!

This brand is the only one which lasts any reasonable amount of time (4 - 6 months) in my car's key fobs. Oddly though, this time, the first one which I inserted had to be replaced, as the car simply would not respond and I was unable to unlock the doors. This drove me to check the expiration date on the package (11-2034). The second battery one worked pretty flawlessly. Fingers crossed that this remains the case.

Excellent batteries. Replaced both on my bmw key fobs for my X3 . Made such a difference and strong signal . One was struggling to open before. Get the correct fit number and volts. Saved me a trip to the dealer and all that hassle.
