I bought a specific style of Hongdian because of the spring in the converter. Do all of the Hongdian pens have that?

There is a spring or plastic ball inside the Hongdian converter to ensure ink flow easily.

Does this take a unique cartridge or will standard international fit it as well?

It works with 3.4mm cartridges such as Hongdian cartridges.

How is a long knife (or long blade) nib different from normal nibs?

This is basically a mild version of a stub italic nib. It's not a round end. Think of it as an oval shape that's adjustable by changing the angle

How can I get the ink to flow more than a couple of lines? I’ve completely clean all parts. To no avail. Love the beauty of the pen. Any suggestions?

In my case ink flow is really good, I’ve never had any writing problem with this pen. If you already clean the pen section and still have problems check if tins are aligned correctly with the feeder, if they aren’t extract nib and feeder to align them. If they are correctly aligned check if the tins are not too wide apart or too tight. You can check some GouletPens and Goldspot YouTube videos to correct any of these two errors.

Even comes with a converter!!

Juicy nib, quality feeling pen. Even though it posts well, I choose not to in order to not scratch the beautiful gold embellishments. Love the rabbit design, smooth nib and metal exterior. Feels very high quality for a fraction of the costs. No leaking. Refills easily, Comes with its own converter. I appreciate the long knife blade, it’s amazing you get all this in such an inexpensive pen.

Great flow and nice bold thick THICC lines. Lots of wet writing iykyk I love this pen and would recommend it at this price point. I recently got a scribo so i never use it anymore but still nice.
