They felt high-quality, are reasonable priced, and are much easier to use than bulk silica gel. Had one of my valuable automatic watches get exposed to water. Noticed slight fogging inside the crystal the next day. Ordered these silica packs immediately and after receiving them, filled a small zip lock bag with these packs along with my watch. Left the watch in the bag for several days and gently warmed it up a few times to cycle a temperature change assisting in drying the moisture out. Process worked like a charm. Watch is back to being crystal clear inside. Watch is due for a service anyway but these silica bags at least removed the slight moisture intrusion faster than I could get the watch to an authorized service center. Love the fact that these packs are reusable also.

I purchased these gel packs to be used in my handgun safe in my winter-season home in southern Florida, where humidity is always a problem. They arrived in a well-sealed (actually vacuum-sealed) heavy-duty plastic bag, that kept the gels fresh and immediately "ready to be used". They're great for this kind of use, because there is not a lot of space to use larger electric moisture absorbers, but these can be spread around then safe, covering the handguns and keeping them dry. The bags work well, and the color-indicating feature makes them economical and easy to use. I only use them in my small safe, so I can't speak for how safe they are with food, but for my needs they are perfect.

i was looking for the amber/green dot on the bags, then went back read the fine print, they meant the gel inside the bag.... came in vacuum seal and seems good quality.
