Cinema Sewer Volume 3: The Adults Only Guide to History's Sickest and Sexiest Movies! Review: My mind was in the Cinema Sewer! - The sleaze rolls on! Loved this book as it followed along in the tradition of the first two books. I cannot think of many bad things to say about this series except some of the hand printing of text can be hard to read, but that drawback is what lends it that personal feel that to me one of the best things about the book series. I must say that the books are some of the best movie related books that I have stumbled onto in years and for a reader who enjoys the lower aspect of movies, adult included, these books are not to be missed. Buy all three editions out right now as you will love them! Review: Slimy pearls retreaved in the sewer! - Ahh, the first. To be the first reviewer of Cinema Sewer is the depraved cherry atop my degenerate sundae of moral awfulness... or should that be awesomeness? Volume 3 did not disappoint! It's just as chock full of vintage porn, exploitation film reviews, and amusing sleaze-hound anecdotes set in comic book form. I loved Volumes 1 and 2. Was glad to see the format and quality hadn't changed. And #3 actually (finally!) mentions H.P. Lovecraft which, I believe, was my only real gripe about the earlier Cinema Sewer books. I don't always share the author's particular taste, but I definitely get off on reading about his love for weird, sick, and outrageous films. The only Achilles heel I can think of is that Robin occasionally used the word "palatable" when he actually meant "palpable". A small thing, easily corrected in Volume #4 - which I eagerly await. Thanks for keeping the reprobate faith, hoss! By His loathsome tentacles, Venger As'Nas Satanis Ipsissimus Cult of Cthulhu

Slimy pearls retreaved in the sewer!

Great study in the darker side of human nature
A bit less focused than the prior two installments, but Robin B's unabashed passion for the twisted/bizarre side of human nature remains riveting. Potential readers should be warned that Bougie embraces films that range from eccentric and quirky to frankly repulsive. Great study in the darker side of human nature.

Getting into the weeds
Simply a joy to read. So much esoteric knowledge for those who love b to z movies and an education of the porn cinema world. So much to read about in the time movies were made before digital, computers, and all the sophistication we are surrounded by today. A time when all seemed mysterious and possible before the sanitized world of CGI.

yet another sewerific volume. . .I heart you, Bougie!
A third installment of the intelligent, humorous, insightful sick fun of porn-horror-grindhouse-n-more fanzine Cinema Sewer. I have all 3 volumes and have immensely enjoyed all 3. Great comic art, too. . .I wish I had posters of the cover art for all of these compilation volumes.

These books are such an interesting read. Even if you aren't into the bizarre sub-culture that it covers, the stories and insight is captivating. A really great read.
