Bought this a year ago for my then 6-month old Labrador puppy and it's been a lifesaver. It's so easy to install with the clips and the added security of the rubber handles pushed between the back and the seat section of the rear seats (in where an ISOFIX would clip into the chassis - the hammock is not attached to the isofix though). I've used it both in the back seat and in the boot of my Renault captur, and it'll be going into my new bigger car shortly as it really does fit across many makes and models of cars. It's been tough enough to withstand a lab puppy, durable enough to survive muddy walks and Scottish winters, and it washes brilliantly at 30c, with it drying in a few hours when hun up over a clothes airer. It was also fantastic in the summer when my daughter went swimming in a river and forgot her towel - so she could sit on the zipped down side of the back seat and not soak the seats! Have recommended this to a number of friends, far easier to use than having a crate in the car. I have a separate seat belt adapter which clicks into one of the rear seat belts and the lead function attaches to the D-ring on the back of my dog's harness to keep her secured. There's more than enough space in the hammock for a 30kg labrador to move, turn around and lie down, and when she's settled, she loves us opening the mesh panel so she can see through/get ear scratches.

This is a great item! Great quality and price. This is the second one we bought. First one lasted four years! It was used virtually every day. We have a spaniel and although is great in the car, she gets a little lively when she knows we have arrived. So it's had plenty rough handling and has stood up very well. Would highly recommend this item. It fits better in a larger car though. It's a perfect fit for our saloon car but a little too big for our Citygo. It's just a minor point. Still used in both cars though.

Purchased a while ago so I can confirm it is decent quality and does the job excellently. Only problem we have is one of the side hangers got damaged when car door closed but that’s not the problem of product just users be aware that strap isn’t hanging in door way when closing . Helps keep dogs contained in rear of car with safety belt harnesses to allow movement but not allow jumping up at windows . Really contains the dog hairs and keeps seats looking great when removed ( easy removable and fitting )

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now. The one we purchased for my husband's car broke after this short time frame, this one is still going strong. The mesh window is great because I don't have to crane my neck to reassure myself that my dog is doing fine, a quick glance shows me that she's gone to sleep or something, or that she's getting restless and wants the window open so she can stick her head out. No problems with grip, which is something I read on a different review. My dog jumps up into my car quite happily and there's no skidding about. The hammock fits great into my VW Polo car, although I do have to tuck it in abit, which means it would also fit a bigger car with no issues. I haven't used the pockets for anything yet, but I can see them coming in handy. The whole thing seems well made, which is fabulous. The seller too, was lovely. They contacted me to make sure I'd receieved everything, straps included, which I had, but it was reassuring to know that they would be ready to help if I did have any issues. I haven't tried to clean it yet, but I do know that it's definitely waterproof after a particularly rainy walk and my dripping wet dog jumped right in and started to form a puddle on the hammock, looking miserable and damp until I got the towel on her. From what I can tell, the mud will wipe right off with no issues. I'm very happy with my purchase. It was easy to install, and the grip on the underneath means that it doesn't slide about, even when my dog is getting impatient to get out for her walk and starts fidgeting. (I've tried to explain speed limits to her, to no avail.)

We have two large dogs that just fit comfortably in the rear of my Mercedes GLC SUV, so when we adopted a third dog, a rescue chocolate Labrador, I had to start carrying her on the rear seat as she couldn't fit in the luggage compartment with the other two. I bought this seat cover after a search on Amazon and am really pleased with the fit and quality. It can be fitted as just a cover to the seat itself, i.e. not covering the footwell, or, it can also be fitted to form a hammock style by fastening the adjustable straps around the front seat head restraints. This is how I use it. Attachment to the rear seat is again by adjustable straps around the head restraints and two plastic tubes that push between the seat and back seat cushions. The cover is plenty wide enough for just about any car and is very well fitted and hard wearing. There is a velcro lined slit to allow access to the seat belt buckles into which clips the included restraint strap to hold the dog safely in place. I use a dog harness for comfort and safety and the restraint strap clips easily onto this. All in all a very well made, hard wearing, easy to fit seat cover. I can remove or replace it in the car in minutes. The dog is very happy, comfortable and most importantly safe. The harness and restraint strap allow the dog to move, sit and lie down as it wishes whilst at the same time, ensuring the dog i safely restrained in the event of sudden braking, or God forbid, an accident. I highly recommend this excellent product.

After researching other pet car seat covers I found this one.....and I am so glad I did! It arrived much quicker than expected and was fitted in my new car within minutes. The quality is excellent, much better than more expensive covers, and the concealed access to the seat belt clip to fit the included safety leash is perfect with just enough length to allow for movement without my dog jumping up and slobbering all over the windows. The cover also has a none slip base and with it being waterproof it is just perfect for all weather conditions. A quick wipe with a damp cloth renders it as good as new and, if necessary, it folds up flat and fits into the little provided bag for storage in the boot. A trip to the vet the following morning meant that I could drive with confidence and safety and my dog was extremely comfortable and at ease. When I opened the car door he was unable to jump out which is another safety bonus. I will certainly without doubt recommend it to anyone who wishes to purchase an attractive, good quality car seat cover that will last for a very long time.

Fantastic product! Best thing since sliced bread! Our 6 month old puppy now loves a long car journey. He settles in many positions now and can stretch out without falling forwards when braking suddenly. He loves looking at us through the mesh bit and loves resting his head on this bit whilst sleeping too. He is safe and comfy now! It is perfect at keeping my car clean and sand- free and we have visited many beaches on Anglesey and our puppy has been covered in sand! It stops him scratching the doors as well. I'm so glad I bought it as it has made such a difference to him. As you can see from the photos he sleeps well in it! It makes him feel secure as he cant slide off the backseat into the footwear which he did before we bought this cover, even tho he had his seat belt on. His seat belt fits easily through the holes in the cover and it is easy to pop in and out of the car. I highly recommend this product. We have a Nissan Qashquai and it fits perfectly! I brought this along with another dog hammock on Amazon, as I wanted to be absolutley sure I was getting the right one. At the time of writing both had very few reviews below 4 stars, so this certainly seemed like it would do the job. It was important for me to buy a dog hammock with a viewing window *with zips*, so that we can't just see the dog and keep him ventilated, but also so that my partner can have some physical interaction with him on longer journeys, without him having to jump up. This hammock certainly deserves the accolade of being one of the best on Amazon. It appears to be very well made and sturdy. I had anticipated the mesh window to be made of fabric, which was why I was worried about him jumping up, however it seems to be made with some sort of plastic or rubber material, unlike some others I have viewed. I don't think smaller dogs would make a hole in this although a bigger dog potentially could. The zips actually seem a bit sturdier than I thought, so I am confident they will not break so long as they are used reasonably carefully. I have opted to keep this hammock and send the other one back as this one is ever so slightly bigger and fits the modern day larger hatchback a lot better. The side flaps are a bit bigger and the whole thing just sits a bit more comfortably in the back of the car. Whilst both seemed very similar I also thought this one just looked slightly better too. I hope it lives up to it's high quality appearance.

Ich habe die Decke bestellt, da ich meinen neuen Wagen vor Hundehaaren und dem Sabber meines French Bulldogs zu schützen. Ich habe die Decke sofort eingebaut und bin begeistert! Nichts rutscht . Die Befestigung war sehr einfach und es sieht auch recht hochwertig aus. Das Gitter ist super, so kann mich der kleine Mann sehen und fühlt sich gut. Außerdem kann man es einfach öffnen um auf einer längeren Fahrt mal ein Leckerchen oder etwas Wasser zu dem kleinen zu reichen. Ich denke in einem Kleinwagen wird sie etwas groß sein. Für meinen Mazda CX3 passt sie ziemlich gut. Minimal zu lang, konnte man aber super ausgleichen und gut zurecht ziehen. Alles in allem : Sehr gut!

Biggest plus was it was big enough for our 55 pound pup on a recent road trip. She had plenty of room when it was just her in the back seat. The fit in the back seat was good, maybe a little small but nothing more than an inch or two on either side. Everything hooked up just fine and created a great space in the seat that was perfect for the dog. HOWEVER, I would suggest looking to make sure you put the rubber side of the bottom down. Basically follow the instructions which I skimmed. Setup was easy though, despite my obvious handicap of not actually reading the instructions. This worked exactly as it was supposed to and was very much worth the money. The only drawback was if you have someone sitting in the back with this, then it can be cramped and obviously an issue. But even that is very minor if you slide one side over and create space.
