Low Profile

Direct drop-in replacement, fit my X270 and X240 perfectly. Has a nice tractive compound that makes using the trackpoint a joy to use compared to the old, aged trackpoints they replaced. Appearance-wise, they look indistinguishable from the OEM trackpoints they interchanged aside from the texture and feel of them being a lot newer and more pleasant to the touch.

Fixes a torn, worn out trackpoint red pointer cap on a T480.

Worked and fit

As described. Good oem (lenovo) fit

I purchased these as a replacement for my ThinkPad X1 Nano. The good: The fit is perfect, and they work fine when new. The bad: The quality of the material is very poor, and the little nubs on two of them already wore down until they were completely smooth in about a month each. The ugly: The value - I found out later than you can buy a bag of 10 OEM trackpoint caps directly from Lenovo for $11, compared to the $9 I paid for 3 of these. Summary: These will work in a pinch if you need something shipped to you quickly, but if you can wait I highly recommend ordering OEM replacements directly from Lenovo instead.

Firstly, the standard low-profile does work with a Thinkpad T480. If you have a T480s you’ll probably need the ultra low-profile. Initial quality seem good and my track point is work 100% better now that the old work original is gone. Long term we will see. The package states Made in Japan. But that’s doubtful given the seller account has Chinese content all over it. You can get 10 OEM a caps from Lenovo for <$10 shipped. Here you only get 3 for basically the same price. But I didn’t want to wait and assuming these last as long as the original I’m ok with only a couple extra replacements.

Worked great got lucky these fit my Lenovo t15 laptop

Great quality and color. Perfect fit for my Thinkpad X13 gen 4 and my E14 gen 4.

It fitted perfectly well to the Lenovo ThinkPad x220 of 2011.

Perfeito

The ThinkPad has always been known for the minimalistic design and the red Trackpoint cap is one of the most iconic feature of the ThinkPad line of laptops. But often people want to personalize their laptop and the most common way is to add stickers to the cover. I personally isn't a big fan of that since it stands out too much and once you used a sticker it'd be hard to transfer it to a new laptop. Then I discovered these blue Trackpoint caps. They offer a subtle way to personalize my laptop and they are transferable (until of course Lenovo decides to redesign the caps). They are very easy to install, just pull off the original red one and push the new blue one in. Your laptop will have a new look in no time. The blue caps offer the same texture as the original red ones and I don't see any difference in performance so I'm pretty happy with them.

Fit well, but are rather cheap-looking. The texture is shallow comparing with the originals. I also expected them to be a bit more blue, like on the picture. They are blue, but not this nice, deep blue. Overall, paired with the price on the higher end, I can't give them more than 3 stars.
