Fit perfect to connect my chinese-made auction concrete breaker to the only available nitrogen tank and fitting around.

Works as it should!

Adapter works
I used this to adapt a US made nitrogen cylinder to a Chinese regulator so I could charge my concrete breaker for my excavator. Works fine for this purpose.

Works Like a Charm
It took a while to figure out what G5/8 meant (hadn't ever worked with this fitting). I needed to to attach a hydraulic accumulator charging hose to the nitrogen bottle, so this is exactly what I needed! Works great, pressurized to 1800 psig, no leaks.

Worked well for my post pounder.
Perfect! Exactly what I needed to connect my hydraulic post pounder tank.

NOT for CO2 cylinders/regulators, falsely advertised
Neither end of this adapter connects to a standard North American CO2 cylinder or regulator, as the listing implies. The statement "for CO2 ... Cylinders" in the item title is not true. I like that their little picture shows it attaching to a CO2 cylinder (CGA 320), via a second adapter. So yeah, if you ALSO use a CGA320 to CGA 580 adapter, sure it's for a CO2 cylinder...smh.

Perfect for it's purpose
I bought a cheap skidsteer jackhammer that needed a nitrogen charge, but the manufacturer had a G5/8 hose and didn't provide an adapter to fit a nitrogen tank. This worked perfectly and provided excellent seals on both ends!

Love this
This is perfect for someone who's just maybe getting started and TIG welding or make it welding. If you happen using acetylene torch you know you have an oxygen valve. I've been very blessed to have a great friend who owns five different manufacturing places that they do welding. Whenever he needs to replace their equipment I normally go with him. So he lets me take anything I want since I work on their gas powered welders. So I have a lot of acetylene things. So now that I decided to start to learn TIG welding I need a gauge. And it was purely by accident that I came across this product. I think it popped up since I do a lot of searches on here for different welding things. My current MIG welder is a flex core or a 75/25 mix. And I normally just use it in the flex. For the project I'm working on over the winter I need a argon gas and it sucked that none of my gauges could be used on that. Just out of nowhere this pops up. I read what it did I just never knew there was reducers like this for welding. When working with hydraulics they do have adapters for different sizes. It went on to the gauges and then to the tank valve and works perfect. I don't use plain and simple soap and water for anything I'm testing for a leak. Again another happy mistake happened. When I needed a new water heater they had this solution that you open the cap and there's a bushy object at the end of the tool. You take that and go all around your fitting. It works perfect every time. For the longest time my air tank for my air tools had a leak someplace and I did the Windex and soap could not find it. I use the solution from Home Depot would you can get there or Lowe's or even Ace and within seconds where I believe it had been leaking sure enough that's where it was at. This is very easy to use and for the price and how long it lasts is a perfect value. Now they do have it in a little squirt bottle but I like the one with the tool on the inside of the lid. Just my preference

It works.
This brass adapter definitely is the cheaper option instead of buying a new regulator, as a $30 adapter is much cheaper. I do think it's a little expensive for a brass adapter, but it is what it is. The machining is done perfectly as every snugs up perfectly and seals without needing Teflon tape or anything. Overall it works as its supposed to.

This adapter is very well made
When I got the adapter I was surprised by its weight. It is very well made. It is exactly what I needed to connect my CO2 regulator to my Argon/CO2 cylinder. It makes the job easier to switch between the two welding gases.
