I ordered these before a fishing trip to Oban for pollock. I have a handful of Fiiish Black Minnow lures, which are proven to catch decent fish, but I have a tendency to lose lures more than I should, and the Black Minnows aren't cheap! With a set of these similar in price to a single Black Minnow, I thought I'd give them a try, especially as I wanted to try a range of brighter colours for Pollock. My Black minnows are a little duller in colour as I try to pick ones that look more realistic when targeting bass. It was good to have the brighter pink, for example, while after Pollock. Did they catch many fish? No. Not a single one. But that's not down to the lure as far as I can tell. The material feels a little tougher than the Black Minnow, but after spending some time watching them on the retrieve, they appear very realistic when swimming. Out of the water, the head and body don't look or feel as refined as a Black Minnow, but with lures, I think it's important to remember that the fish aren't thinking too much about the quality or how much you spent. For anyone not familiar with this type of lure, the hook can be concealed inside the body, which makes the lure very weedless. You can drag them through very rough stuff without snagging the hook point. I have no doubt that these will catch well and look forward to using them again. Hopefully, when there are more fish around.

Comes in a vacuum packed plastic bag, probably stored for a long time, thus deformed and some have become hard. The rubber body of most of them is badly cast. Tail is too thin, so they don't wiggle then retrieved. The only positive is that they look ok if you squint, and that the jig head can be reused with another softbait after some minor work. Don't buy them unless you want to cut them to pieces and use for parts.
