Does indeed cool!
After seeing an online review I purchased the KLIM laptop cooler and it does indeed reduce the temperature whilst gaming. Its fairly big and bulk so not easily portable and the fans are loud but is a necessary evil. The controls are easy to use and the LED lights are a nice touch. The foam actually held my 17" laptop in place.Does what it says!

Really good
I bought this for my wifes new laptop and it lowers the temperatures significantly. This is ideal if you have a gaming laptop as quite often the inbuilt colling may struggle. It's not cheap but it is far better than any other laptop cooler that either of us have ever had :)

A cooling pad that actually seems to make a measureable difference.
I have a new MSI Stealth laptop that loves nothing more than to thermal throttle in heavy gaming sessions. These laptop manufacturers do love to push for ever thinner builds leaving the heat nowhere to go! So, I was casting around for something to help with the situation when I came across these positive air pressure models from Klim. I'm normally pretty sceptical about fan mats as I've seldom seen much improvement with them before. Klim's solution is putting an airtight(ish) seal around the base and pushing air through the laptop via its bottom grills. Cutting to the chase, with the Klim Everest pad on full power, the laptop is taking longer to throttle, and cools off much quicker the moment the load is reduced. You can really feel the extra air spilling out of the vents on the laptop too. It's not a game-changing result, but it's noticeably eased the issue and is very welcome. On a playthrough of Far Cry 6 on very high settings I've seen a real improvement in the laptop's ability to keep to 75fps on 4K when before I'd be seeing throttling losses down to the mid-low 60s. The fans on the Klim Everest are quite powerful on full blast but not overly loud. Certainly they are not anything like as loud as my built in laptop fans on 100% which sound like a vacuum cleaner, so the less time I have to spend listening to them is definitely a win! Depending on the game and its demands on your hardware, you could sit the Klim at a middle fan setting and it's reasonably quiet. Doing windows tasks on a low fan setting and you'll forget the fan is even on! So, on to the design of the mat itself... Away from its pictures on Amazon, the appearance of the Klim Everest did not impress quite frankly. It's big and tacky looking in its kids-toy-silver livery. The plastic build feels cheap and the design lacks charm. It's also quite bulky and although not heavy, its size prevents portability. My sleek MSI resting on it looks like a gazelle on top of an elephant. The 4 strips of coloured LED lights strung around the base feel like an afterthought and do nothing to increase the appeal. So, if you're style conscious about your gaming set up - this may not be a good look for you. Personally I'm all about results so I don't much care! The foam mat the laptop rests on is held in place by some poorly fitting magnetic buttons and doesn't feel robust or secure. However it seems to hold in place with the laptop weight resting on it no problem so maybe I'm being a little too judgemental. I've had no issues with the laptop sliding around which bedevils some other cooling pads. There are plastic flaps to stick over the intake vents to stop already hot air expelled from the laptop finding its way back in, but these are literally just plug-in plastic squares shoved in the box, rather than properly fitted to the unit. It feels like a bit of a design fudge - like nobody thought of this potential problem until just before the product got released. This plastic chonker of a pad cost me 40 quid, which I feel OK about given it's doing what I need it to do. I'd not be pleased if I were paying more though as the build quality simply does not justify higher prices. I don't yet know how gracefully the pad will age. If it keeps on running well though, I can cautiously recommend this pad to you as a credible, if not altogether graceful solution to overheating! As the product states, make sure you do have air vents on the underside of your laptop before you buy this product or it'll do diddly squat. If you only have small underside vents it may also not be worthwhile.

Does the job nicely
Great design a Little noisy but does the job overall worth the money

Fan developed fault after 8 months.
Not even a year and it’s developed a fault. Crazy loud fan noise started about 2 months ago but once moved it would go away, now it doesn’t and has become unusable.

Barely any different from the cheapest laptop coolers... within 3c?
I have a cheap technet laptop cooler from 2016 or so, it was like £10... i decided to buy a new laptop cooler as i'm using my new laptop as a desktop tempoarily, it is a legion slim 5 16ahp9, ryzen 8845hs and 4060. Testing the cooler on cinebench, on turbo mode it made no difference vs the cheap, very old technet, on balanced settings it made a difference of 3c. Very underwhelming and it is also a lot more noisy at max fan speed, which is what i tested with. It's simply too much when it doesn't provide any meaningful results over the cheaper competition.

Exceptional product!
Works great especially when working under the heat wave and the laptop can get really hot. Strongly advised!

Me arrepiento no haberlo comprado antes. 100% recomendado.

It really helps with cooling and keeping cooling system clean.
I got the cooling pad for my ASUS ROG G15 and it really helped me to deal with the hot summer temperatures and it also kept the cooling system of the laptop perfectly clean - thanks to the integrated air filters! There was an issue with buttons on my cooling pad but the support team dealt with it very nicely and I am very happy with this cooling pad. It is rather loud on the higher settings but it is to be expected rom a high performance cooling pad, it gets the job done perfectly fine.
