It helps me navigate tracks on my, otherwise inscrutable, 3rd generation iPod shuffle. I bought the iPod from a friend, without the proper earbuds, so this helps. (still have to figure out volume on it, though). There were some shipping issues but Reytid came through for me and were very responsive to my questions about the process.

No funciona del todo bien con el iPod Shuffle 3 gn 2 Gb. Se puede pasar las canciones pero no se puede subir o bajar el volumen

so glad this exists - allow me to use nice, new mini-bud earphones that won't adjust volume on my old Ipod... so now I can stop& start and adjust volume.
