Awesome handheld
This handheld console can play many different games from many different consoles. It's super comfortable to hold and lightweight to be able to play for a while at a time. The screen size is just right, super clear, and small enough to pretty comfortably fit in a pocket. The buttons work great, but the shoulder buttons are a little clicky for me. The battery life is pretty great, depending on the games you want to play. I've been able to play Gameboy Advance, N64, SNES, and even PSP games on it without any issues so far. Lower quality games don't use a lot of power though, so you can get a lot of playtime just playing Gameboy games. It's also very customizable. I installed a different operating system on it, which was pretty easy to do and installed plenty of games on it with lots of space left on the 64gb SD card that it comes with. The included charging cable is nice, but a little short. It uses USB-C so I've been able to use one of my longer cables with it. Overall, super great purchase and I know I'll get a lot of use out of it!

Awesome little device
Working great for itโs intended purpose. It came with a kioxia (spelling) card with a pretty good operating system and a lot of oldddd games like a few thousand but nothing terribly interesting. I got a new card and installed knulli which is a nicer looking operating system and has many options for tweeking everything but definitely took a hit on battery life. Device works pretty good with DC and PSP but not every game. PSX, SFC, FC, SG, And all the older consoles work perfectly. Thumbsticks work fine and placement is pretty good (I actually use them a lot). The screen is very clear, bright and a reasonable size. Overall this is a great product and I think certainly worth the price. If you want all the blockbuster games be ready to do lots of investigating as well as tinkering with a computer.

Decent little retro handheld
To me, the 4" screen and better trigger button layout make it better than the 35XXH. The battery life for it is pretty decent, and it stays cool on everything except the more demanding 3D titles. It gets slightly warm on the back right side but I don't think it would be uncomfortable unless you were going to play for the full battery length, maybe. The D-Pad and face buttons feel great, not mushy or stiff. The trigger buttons are clicky and tactile. The sticks are at least serviceable for being locked to eight directions (Up, Up-Right, Right, Down-Right, etc.) but when you're playing it doesn't feel terribly obvious. Out of the box, going through the menu and selecting things has an annoying sound effect, but you can turn it off in the settings. Overall, it's a great handheld for playing anything 5th Gen and older. Edit: So, I've had this for a while now and the initial "wow!" factor has settled down as I've gotten a good idea at what it can handle. Honestly, this thing can really only handle Playstation 1 when it comes to 3D. Everything else you have to make some compromises with either stuttering and/or graphical issues. I originally considered the horizontal version because of the twin sticks, but since most games don't even use a second stick, I kind of wish I had gotten the SP style instead. The sticks don't jut out too badly to make gameplay uncomfortable, but it does feel like I have to mentally focus on not hitting them when playing. As for 2D titles, I can at least say it handles all of them flawlessly. I will say though that I've realized that the D-Pad on this is a little too sensitive on diagonals, which makes it harder to play certain games, though. Overall, I still think it's a decent little retro handheld device, but maybe curb your enthusiasm on most 3D games.

No longer works after one week. Pretty impressive in the beginning!
2025.06.04, the device wonโt turn on after the fourth day of playing on it ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ it had so much potential so I donโt know what happened?!?! So will be returning this product. 2025.06.01, got a hand held in thailand for $70. Worked for a month then it stopped charging. Compared to this handheld, the retroid is much more seamless and customizable. Pretty impressive game titles that it comes with. After testing out four games, one didnโt load correctly. The Digimon world, I forgot which system I was testing outโฆ Iโll do more testing and will update the review. Really worth the cash so far! Iโll probably get one for my sister

Runs smooth and lasts a decent amount of play time.
I've been using my phone to play my roms. I saw this by happen chance on X and came straight here. ๐คฃ It's missing some emulators, but you can load more with the 2nd microsd card. 100% worth it. I've had no issues and the battery lasts a decent amount of time too. I'm very pleased. ๐๐

Great system
I love it, so cute, my boyfriends grandson is gonna love it, I love gaming, and this is perfect for his first little system since hes only 5, gonna be 6.. the quality is nice as well. Great for little ones, and you can add emulators, or add game roms to existing systems on it as well.

Pretty cool. Worth the money spent.
Works well, great price point. A mini to full sized HDMI plugs it into my TV, good times.

Missing a lot of big title games!
The games works fine. I just hate that im going to have to do the extra work of installing games. There were NO GBA games installed! No mario games! That's all I really wanted it for! Smh. Welp, let me go figure this out and buy extra sd cards and stuff!
