REDBUOY The Carbolic Household Soap Twin Pack (2 bars each 130g)

The only carbolic soap to buy, it contains carbolic acid and has that strong carbolic smell. Most of the soaps calling themselves carbolic soap are not because they don’t contain carbolic acid. Redbuoy is the real deal. I love this stuff, makes you feel so clean although the smell is strong and lasts for some hours. It’s not an awful smell, clinical, hygienic is how I’d describe it. Nice smell but I wouldn’t shower with it before a date. Carbolic soap is great for so many things, antibacterial and antiviral which is why the Red Cross include it in aid packages. You can wash yourself with it, wash clothes, floors, work surfaces the uses are endless.

I decided to use the old, tried and tested soaps from the past and remembered Carbolic soap, I ordered it and used it today to deep clean my home and then use it on myself in the shower, not only does my home feel extremely clean and sanitised but I feel extremely clean after using it in the shower. It certainly is a blast from the past with a lovely clean scent which takes me back. Well worth buying.

It smells a lot like TCP, so can makes clothes smell a bit. It does work really well on fresh stains, especially grease. Not so well on older stains, but that's to be expected. Much better than the vanish soap!

This is an outstanding Carbolic Soap, it is definitely the best on the U.K. market at the present time. Because it is marketed as a "Household Soap" it contains Phenol (Carbolic Acid) so it can legally be sold within the European Union. It has a lovely strong fragrance, and is just like the old "Life Boy" soap that so many of us who are older grew up with. I have also had a couple of baths with this, and really enjoyed using it. So if you are a person who likes a good Carbolic Soap, you can buy this with out any hesitation, as the price also includes postage.

It does the job really well and make whateveryou'rewashing smell really clean. It has a strong smell so you might want to keep it in a bag if it bothers you. Will buy again if possible.

Bought this soap as nostalgic trip but so impressed I will be using it forever. Very important in this day of corvid 19! I use it in the shower with no adverse effects apart from feeling very refreshed. Initially thought this soap was very expensive but it looks like is will be good value as it lasts.

When the old well known brand of soap removed the carbolic it became a poor shadow of itself and lost its red colour. Now I've discovered this RedBuoy Soap it has been like inviting an old friend back into the house. The smell and texture and the cleaning power is back. Brings back memories of my Grandmothers house. If you want a soap that does a better job than all these anti-bacterial soaps then get this. It won't let you down.

I remember this from when I was younger,exactly the same lovely smell. Bars a bit smaller than I remember, but I love the soap. Great product with a touch of nostalgia. Would recommend definitely.
