Great coffee.
This is the best coffee I've ever had . Smells great and the taste is smooth. It has a good caffeine kick . 10/10.

Very different from other coffees
When I first tried this I thought it was almost burnt. It's right on the edge of between roasted and burnt, and I thought I didn't like it. One packet down and I'm not sure anything else will ever do. It's so good. It's ground to a lovely fineness so using a stove pot works really well. Well worth a punt if you're a coffee lover - I expect it has marmite response, but for me I'm so glad I gave it a go. Pity it's quite expensive (although pack is a little bigger than normal)

Cuban coffee
Oh man this stuff is amazing! It’s higher caffeine levels but tastes lovely, no sugar needed! I bought a tin originally and use the refill packs to top up and keep fresh. It’s ground already so you will need a press / espresso maker

Wow - very strong!
A friend recommended this to me and at the time said the taste was incredible and "sleep afterwards is not an option". He wasn't wrong either - it's very rich and full of flavour but boy it gives you a wake-up call in the morning! :D

Grind is very fine, essentially ready for espresso or maybe even a Turkish coffee. Been drinking Bustelo on and off for almost 20-years now, and it is not a bad coffee. Typically, I add about 1/4 of the serving size to my grounds for percolated to give the coffee a nice boost in flavor. Have also used to brew in Moka, Phin and in a pinch for drip. In drop however, it's a bit too fine when dealing with "one cup" makers but for 8-cup or larger no issues. Definitely not for cold brew due to its fineness, a lot of silt depending on your pitcher. Can be done, and does have a strong flavor for cold brew, just not recommended.

I have been drinking this coffee for years. I have worked in many coffee shops and have drunk coffee from many establishments, including Starbucks which I do not like at all (I think Starbucks burns their beans). In case you did not realize, dark roasted coffee has less acid and actually a little less caffeine because some it goes up in the smoke when roasted. Hard to say exactly why I like it so much but the smoothness and intensity of flavor works for me. I make it in a French press every morning. The price is very good when you get in this quantity. I do put honey and creamer in my coffee, but it is wonderful also as just an expresso.

I ordered this on 8/19 for $110 equaling $4.58 a brick and it arrived via USPS on 8/28; all 24 bricks are in good shape; the vacuum seals on all bricks are in tact; all bricks have the same expiration date, which is 7/27/2025; packaging looks legit; I'll be set with coffee for the next 2 yrs as I consume about a brick or two each month; I'll return to the review to supplement it if something turns up worth reporting; this is a good value under the circumstances; other single and multiple bricks were going for about $8! Before covid, I usually got them for 3 for $5; I haven't opened nor tried yet a brick because I still have left some gourmet coffee I bought at Whole Foods while this got delivered so I can't yet give a quality remark; and lastly, the bricks arrived in a box the size of all the bricks without peanuts, air bubbles or other cushion to protect them during transit; the box wasn't damaged. That's all folks!
