Great slow cooker, bought as an upgrade to my old one. It is lightweight. Metal pot is easy to clean and great for browning meat before cooking. Looks great, simple control, good size and cooks perfectly. Highly recommend.

Not long ago, due to weak arthritic fingers & weak hands, l gave away my old faithful slow cooker, as the ceramic pot was just too heavy. Missed it so, especially as its winter. Pros. Bought this, with its aluminum pot it is perfect. Both lighter & with lower energy use as the heat transference is likely quicker. It looks smart. It arrived in good time, beautifully packaged. Cons. It was a bargain price, no guarantee or recipe book, okay. The only let down is the temperature dial. You simply cannot tell what temp it is on unless very very close. But, now that l know it works, & art is a hobby, I have painted the dial line. Check the pic, you will do the same!

Very happy with this slow cooker. A good size for family meals. Great that onions and meat can be browned on the hob in the aluminium pot before starting the slow cooking. On the slight downside The indicator light is not very bright but I’m sure I can get used to that and the black dial to change setting is all black so you can’t at a glance see which setting it is on. I put a small dot of acrylic paint so I could see what setting it was on. The slow cooker is lightweight and easy to clean. I am very happy with this purchase.

Purchased this to replace an old Morphy Richards multi cooker (20+ years old) that although still working fine the non-stick coating had started to peel off. This replacement, slow cooker one is In regular use. Lighter than my previous one and miles better as can sear meat and veg on the hob before transferring to the slow cooker. No extra pans to wash. Clean up is so easy. The non stick pot washes easily in the sink but can be put in the dishwasher too. Wouldn't be without one. Brilliant - highly recommend this model as it is much more versatile than the ceramic pot types and not heavy to lift when full. Reliable too! I had to stir my old one when on high to stop food sticking, but i don't have to touch this one during cooking at all. I just fill it and leave it to do its thing. Great price too.

Having arthritic fingers have been unable to use my traditional slow cooker for a few years. Saw this by chance and the reviews by others with arthritis and recommendations on weight made me buy. Totally convinced and love love love it. The lighter metal bowl heats much more quickly and the food cooks evenly. The temperature seems to drop quite quickly once turned off unlike the ceramic bowls which seem to retain the heat for longer. Having said that once cooked and served there isnt a point for it to retain the heat. Have used it with and without liners its easy clean in both cases. So many recipes tried and enjoyed. Totally recommend to those who like a slow cooker but cannot cope with the weight of the traditional one.

Great item and used loads good size and good value

I would give this product Ten stars if it was possible.. I have used a Crockpot for over 50 years, so versatile and labour saving.. Age and declining osteoarthritis have made it difficult the past few months and I wasn't using my Crockpot as much, for fear of dropping the pot... Then I was told about a slow cooker with a lightweight version.. So.. I ordered the Morphy Richards seat and stew..I will point out at this stage.. I have NEVER seared any meat before cooking..I don't see the need or any advantage, having tasted the alternative.. Not only is the pot lightweight it's SO easy to clean..rinse and wipe SERIOUSLY easy. I make soup several times a week, always in a saucepan and decided to try my new slow cooker.. perfect result and no standing, stirring or checking the contents.. why didn't I buy this before..
