Bettersups Better Joints: 90 Caps, 1 Month Supply, Plastic Container
The Scoop Bettersups Better Joints is a joint support supplement that contains a blend of glucosamine, MSM, turmeric, chondroitin, Vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and Boswellia Serrata. It is designed to support joint health, mobility, and reduce inflammation. My Overall Sentiment Bettersups Better Joints is a pretty comprehensive joint support supplement formulated with a blend of natural ingredients that have proven to reduce oxidative stress. It has an interesting formula that includes glucosamine, MSM, turmeric, chondroitin, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and Boswelia Serrata, all of which work synergistically to promote joint health and mobility. Some of the ingredients I already take individually, so having this formula will allow me to swap to a single capsule, while also adding a few others - chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, and Boswelia Serrata, in my case. While I do not have joint problems, I tend to take lower doses of ingredients to help stave-off potential problems in the future while helping maintain normal joint function. By taking a supplement like Better Joints on a daily basis, I hope to maintain normal joint function, keep inflammation in check, and support the overall health of my joints, bones, and connective tissues. These are easy-to-swallow capsules too, so it is convenient to incorporate into my daily routine. What I Liked - The supplement contains a blend of ingredients commonly used for joint support. - The ingredients are derived from natural sources. - The capsules are easy to swallow and vegetarian-friendly. The So-So’s - Fixed dose: Capsules can make dosing difficult, but as the recommendation is 3 caps per day, I can quite easily stagger the amount I consume (which is what I prefer to do). - 90 capsules represents a 1 month supply (at the recommended serving of 3 caps per day) What Didn’t Work For Me - Plastic container and cap: I would rather that the capsules were supplied in a biodegradable container that I can recycle. - I would prefer if the container size was better matched to the contents. Advertiser's Claims Examined Advanced Joint Support Formula: The supplement contains a blend of ingredients commonly used for joint health. Natural Ingredients: The ingredients are derived from natural sources. Daily Wellness Boost: The recommended dosage is straightforward and can be easily incorporated into daily routines. Easy-to-Swallow Capsules: The capsules are designed for easy consumption.

Average sized capsules
These Bettersups Better Joints - Advanced Joint Support Supplements are actual capsules as opposed to tablets. They are odourless and tasteless and wash down easily with water. They are average sized capsules in my opinion although you can see for yourself the picture I uploaded with the size comparison to a 5 pence piece. They come in a regularly shaped pill bottle that has a screw lid and once opened for the first time the bottle also had a protective seal on it, there is no child lock. The bottle is a good size and with the contents of 90 capsules, I feel the bottle represents pretty good value although you are supposed to take 3 per day which only makes this a 30 day supply if you follow the instructions. I'm happy with them, so far so good. Of course it is early days and too early for me to speak of any health benefits but the capsules seem high quality and well made and I am happy to keep taking them for the foreseeable future. I haven't felt much in the first week or so of taking them, but importantly I haven't had any ill-effects either. I guess I will have to wait and see with my fingers crossed that the health benefits are real and manifest themselves. Given the relatively low cost of the bottle I may well look to order more in the long run.

Seems to be okay
Although I can't say for certain that these capsules are definitely doing me some good, I'm hoping that with continued use, I will start to feel some improvement with regard to aches and pains. It's certainly not doing me any harm - that much I can say! As soon as I open the bottle, I can smell the frankincense (Boswellia serrata); however, although the aroma is quite strong, the capsules don't actually have a taste. Nor do they repeat on me, which is good news. Phew! Unfortunately, there's no information regarding the provenance of the frankincense, which bothers me because thanks to the Western wellness industry, this species is under threat of eradication because it's largely produced using non-sustainable practices. I'd like to know more about where Bettersups sources theirs, and what - if any - measures they take to ensure that they are not contributing to this tree's demise. I do feel that the inclusion of hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C are unnecessary, though, especially the former, due to the fact there is zero evidence of its effectiveness when taken orally. The inclusion of turmeric is pointless, too, as there is no piperine included. Piperine is essential for the body's absorption of curcumin (the polyphenol in turmeric), so to not include it in this supplement seems strange. Still, I suppose supplements companies have to do what they can in order to entice people to pick up their products from the shelf, so I can't say I blame them for trying to stand out from the crowd in what is already an oversaturated market. That aside, I feel that the current price of £16.99 for a month's supply of the 'big three' (glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM) is a very good price. And I like that this is formulated to be taken three times a day, to ensure a steady release of ingredients. Points in Bettersups' favour also include a beautifully-designed label. The only thing I would say is that using the initials, 'bs' does present a negative image. Unless of course, this supplement is completely fake, in which case, 'bs' would be entirely appropriate. But I don't think that's the intention!
