A breeze and joy to use
Great product. easy to use. solid feeling. As someone who tried and returned 4 different types of edge banding trimmers from the hand squeeze run along both sides to the grab like a joystick and push to trim to the really expensive professional heavy duty one this trimmer was by for the best for use and price. And switching the blades is so easy. I am building custom cabinets and this trimmer has made banding all the drawer edges a breeze and a joy. I have done 8 full drawers (about 100 feet of trimming) without any issues, problems or the need to switch the blade.

Perfect edges
I see a lot of grumbling in the reviews, but have to say my experience was very good when used on birch veneer. I had no issues with making lines in the wood, or chipping. I think the key to successful use is to be gentle and only use light downward pressure. I moved it pretty quickly. There were places where the veneer didn't trim all the way flush, but a quick second pass cleans it right up. It works great on longer runs, but a razor is easier for trimming the ends.

useful little tool
This thing is pretty cool. Works very well once you get the hang of how to use it, though there is a bit of a learning curve, so have a few test pieces ready. It is a sturdy little blade, no wobbling or anything. I didn't notice it getting gummed up (I used for contact paper), but I imagine if it does its easily removed. You need to use it with a little speed, otherwise it can get caught, but it is pretty sharp, and does the job well.

This thing works perfectly!
I don't do a ton of edge banding so I can't bear to buy one of the more expensive trimmers, but the cheap ones are junk, so I just hack at it with a razor blade. But this thing is awesome, solid and sturdy, super clean cuts, really easy to use. In fact, if I did this stuff everyday, I'd still choose this one over the fancy ones for it's price and simplicity, get some spare blades and you're all set! I'm not sure why I got so excited over a little tool, but I guess it's the small things in life...lol

trimmer
It does the job well. You may have to pass over the edge two or three times to cut down the overhang from the edge band, but don't press too hard, or you will cut into the plywood or leave scratches.

Great product
Easy to use , slides easy and cut all the way to the corners

Works enough - not an "investment" piece
Needed this because I was relining my drawers' melamine. Ultimately, it does what it is made to do - it is easy to use and makes sure you get a straight line. However, I would say it dulled faster than I would have liked; I think I used it about 10 times (like 10 runs on the melamine) and it was already getting dull, which left me with a few drawer edges not so smooth. If you have a small project, this works fine. If you want a long-lasting tool, I would keep shopping and invest in a nicer quality edge trimmer.

Great Edge Band Trimmer
Works great. I used it to trim edge banding applied to a door made from plywood. I also used it to clean up edge banding applied to the leading edge of the two side door jambs. Both the doors and jambs were placed in a jig built for holding a door on its edge. While trimming the banding, I pressed the trimmer at a slight angle towards the center of the board. The blades were more than sharp enough for the job.

Slick to use.
Excellent trimer for doing edges on your work projects. Does a much better job than a utility knife.Nice clean trim hardly need to file any edges.
