Star Wars The Black Series Luke Skywalker, A New Hope Collectible 6 Inch Action Figure

I picked up this action figure mainly to use as a prop for my toy photography, and it’s turned out to be a lot better than I expected for the price. The sculpting is sharp with good definition, and the paintwork is clean with none of the messy overspray you sometimes get on budget figures. Up close, it holds up really well in shots, which is exactly what I needed. Articulation is decent too. It’s not on the level of a premium collector figure, but it moves well enough to get a good range of poses without looking stiff or unnatural. More importantly for me, it holds those poses - the joints are firm enough that I didn’t have to fight with it between shots, and it stands upright without constant adjustment or a stand (a small miracle in itself). The included accessories are handy and photograph well, and nothing feels too fragile. The proportions are natural, meaning it drops nicely into both close-up and wider scene shots without looking toy-like unless you want it to. Pros from a toy photographer’s perspective: - Clean sculpt and paintwork - great for close-up photos - Solid articulation and stable standing pose - Good accessory selection that photographs well - Lightweight but not flimsy so it stands up to a trip in the camera bag Cons: - Articulation isn’t premium-level, but absolutely fine for posing and photography - A couple of joints were a bit stiff out of the box (easily loosened) If you’re looking for an inexpensive but reliable figure to use in creative setups, forced perspective shots, or tabletop scenes, this one is a solid choice. It photographs far better than expected and has already earned a permanent spot in my prop box.

My son loves this figure, just the right size for his small shelf.

Well worth the money a very nice piece

A very nice Luke Skywalker figure. Faithful to the original movie. I haven’t purchased many Star Wars figures in my time but my son feel in love with the original trilogy during the summer so it felt like the perfect time to buy a Luke along with a Vader. Very happy. Packaging feels premium even though it is within the £20 range. Very pleased ⭐

Great figure of Farmboy Luke, as always the headsculpt isn't the best (it's the Luke-fluke) Compared to the older Farmboy Luke however this is a major improvement, glad I sold the old one (from the Landspeeder set) and replaced it by this new version

Una gran figura de la linea black series que no puede faltar en tu colección, tratándose de luke skywalker. Faltan accesorios pero aún así merece la pena.

Like Princess Leia, Farmboy Luke is a strong argument on having sculpted clothing rather than soft goods. He improves massively on the original release, and unlike Leia there is not much in the loss of articulation with the 2024 Luke able to do more or less everything the older figure could. Accessories are OK and are an obvious choice. It might have also been nice to include Luke’s poncho and/or cycler rifle to create more options for display - but these pieces all exist in the line already and are compatible with the new Luke. With Luke and Leia now updated and enhanced I hope that Hasbro will follow suit with some of the older classic characters who are now pushing 10 years old.
